Well its one of those moments... This will be painful in the anime as it will no doubt turn into a lengthy flashback or have ceaseless Kurosaki-kun. Why did we even have to waste time with her...terrible decision Kubo. Pleasant chapter for the sake of Yukio getting back in action. It is surprising that the members of xcution, Isshin, and Uruhara werent forgotten, but no doubt the last two wont fight at all, and the xcution people (uhm, where is Shishigawara, he doesnt get a piece of Ichigo's powers too? unfair) will be wiped out easily by new skills from our favorite Hitsugaya and Renji.

The pain arc was a return to part 1 form, a villain that was wrecking shit in the village, Naruto getting down to business, and with the added bonus of having the suspension of people I knew the name of dying left and right.

Granted the ending invalidated the whole thing but still, that was as close to part 1 (in part 2) as you was going to get.
