This is just going to be a long running joke throughout the entire series.
I understand that she wants to make it a slice of life series focused on the agricultural side and not just another romance manga, and that's why she is avoiding it. But at this point it feels silly. Like the characters of the story said, everybody knows what's up already. At this point she should have made them a couple who is dating "between chapters", if she didn't want to focus on that.

Good colour page, liked the 14 chapter on the illusionist (cameo from the one shot and other series that was cancelled?), and how into it Saiki Kusuo was getting. Probably one of the best ones due to how he expressed himself this time.

It's a dead body though, so there might be different rules for that. And yeah, the censorship is either using beam of light or shadow...

I wonder if the actors will even draw any manga.
Mostly redrawing. Sometimes the censorship is so light that it's easier to do, other times it's harder to pull off (talking about scans). Also volumes usually have lesser censorship than what's in magazines when chapters are published.
Naturally the censorship is applied afterward, so there are uncensored drawings. If the porn gets licensed in the west, they can come uncensored over here.

I suspect this character is going to be both played as humor, and also seriously, dealing with transgender issues. But as I was saying, he seems confused. He says he likes crossdressing and all that, it seems he feels more as a woman, but he says he isn't gay. But... he likes Maradame? I think he is still in process of defining both his sexuality and gender. Hell, all the part where he sees himself as another person floating when he is dressed as a boy (and comments on his actions in third person) is kind of deluding.

It sounds as a truth, maybe if his heart would have been broken by Saki after a failed confession, he could have moved on later and grown as a person, but his cowardice have him stuck on a safe otaku pattern.
I hope that, sometime in the future, after he moves on or find another girl, he can stay as friends with her. Apart from the obvious crush, I think they liked each other as strange friends. In fact now I understand now she went home early in the party with everyone else to not make it hard to Maradame.
