Talking of Flash, what clever person at Macromedia was responsible for Flash MX 2004 not being able to import .FLA files from Flash MX? Dumb arses.

Thanks mate.

Though when installing it it comes up cannot copy flash.ocx.

After continuing the install flash is not working.

Any other suggestions ?

Huh? What do mean not be able to import? I migrated my major work project from MX to MX 2004 with not much problem; the only minor issue was upgrading the code to use the new v2 components. Can't you just open the FLA file?

And Rabid Wolverine... what version of Windows are you using? If you're using Windows 2000 or XP, are you currently logged on to your computer as Administrator, or in an account that has administrator privileges? Also, do you have any anti-spyware software (like Spybot) or other software that may be preventing you from installing ActiveX controls?

Nah man not logged as admin.. Just a piss poor worker account with his privilages stripped to a bare minimum.
Using Win2K also.
Yeah, that's why you can't install Flash for Internet Explorer, unfortunately. It places itself in the System32 folder, which you don't have permission to write to. You *could* probably download and install Mozilla Firefox and install Flash on that (since you don't need admin privileges to do either of those), but it may be a bit much...
