What happens during and after the great reset?

"COVID-19: The Great Reset" is a guide for anyone who wants to understand how COVID-19 disrupted our social and economic systems, and what changes will be needed to create a more inclusive, resilient and sustainable world going forward. Klaus Schwab, founder and executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum, and Thierry Malleret, founder of the Monthly Barometer, explore what the root causes of these crisis were, and why they lead to a need for a Great Reset.

Don't worry folks. There is definitely no such thing as "The Great Reset". It's all conspiracy theory stuff.

Listen, even if it was a thing, which it totally totally is definitely not, do you honestly think that people with money and power would take advantage of a crisis to push their agenda? Never! Read a history book, dummies! It has never ever happened and never ever will happen.

Nobody with the ear of governments, or those actively involved in governments, would ever lie or misinform or maybe stoke a bit of fear here and there to get things done. They'd never subvert or undermine to get their own ideas put forward as solutions. It has never ever happened.

Conspiracy nutjobs...

"It's #BlackFriday today! What do you think of this intense day of hyped consumerism? Should we be encouraging people to go to shops during a pandemic and spend money when many have now lost their jobs or have been furloughed? What are the consequences of prioritising the economy over everything else?" (11/27/20)

That's great to see although no real suprise, the French have never been shy about taking to the streets. Btw don't know if anyone knows the Vegas situation since Monday.

Reservations required in all restaurants and bars.

All restaurants and bars and casinos only 25 percent capacity.

Most other public gatherings like places of worship only 25 percent capacity.

Retail and grocery stays at 50 percent capacity but must have an employee outside doing head counts.

We definitely need a lot more of it. Another scene today, this one from Toronto:

Wait What?

COVID-19 infection in Toronto: Ethno-racial identity and income
Our risk of illness is linked to how and where we live, work, and play. There is growing evidence that racialized populations and low income groups are more at risk of COVID-19. The reasons for this are unclear but could include:

  • Existing health disparities linked to social and economic factors
  • Stress caused by racism and other forms of discrimination
  • Challenges in participating in the public health response to COVID-19, including
    • difficulties in limiting COVID-19 exposure because of being an essential worker, and
    • difficulties in physical distancing because of overcrowding
  • Inequitable access to health care and social services

Stress caused by racism is causing more risk to COVID in Toronto. Being fat or Vit D deficient nah forget about that, its stress that causes COVID to spread.

BTW Toronto has a population of 3 million people

Under 70 deaths?

196

Under 50 deaths?

57.

87% of deaths are over 70 years old.

Toronto is Canada's biggest city.

SCAREDEMIC indeed.

Wow. BBC.

What the hell?

I think the guy even says something like "this is what your kids will see when they are dying with Covid"?

I thought the death rate under 18s was very low? Also I thought children were excempt from wearing masks and most countries have decided to leave schools open?

It seems like pretty extreme scaremongering, no?

Because the BLM narrative played into the Great Reset, while these Freedom protests don't.

No no no. You don't understand.

Protesting American police brutality, in the UK, during a pandemic, is fine. Its OK. Commendable, even.

Protesting against the UK government's handling of the pandemic within the UK is not fine. It's not OK. How dare you?

Come on lads, citizens should just do what they are told and should be punished for protesting against their own government. If you're gonna protest it should be against the Orange Man on the other side of the world or not at all.

Why don't you get this?

When will you all learn to not question your betters?

I've not watched the clip but it's the BBC, an organisation now no more than a goverment think tank outlet. I think they are doubling down on the fear and propoganda to keep those still asleep to the corruption in that state. Tens of thousands at a protest in London today people of all walks of life are being affected now by job losses and other effects of the lockdowns and are getting pissed off..rightly so....yet still can contain there anger and peacefully protest...the police...not so much.....who is policing the police?

Free vitamin D. Smart move

It is utterly shocking to me that they are only just doing this now.

Even if it was never going to be a cure (of course), doing everything possible to help people boost their immune systems and live a healthier lifestyle should have been encouraged from the very start.

As soon as factors like age and underlying conditions were known about there should have been programs set up to help people have a better chance IF they happened to contract the virus.

9 months later... "maybe we should make sure the most vulnerable people are getting enough vitamin D".

For most nations if they had managed to cut the total deaths of those over say 60 years old then they would have been cutting the total deaths by almost the same percentage. Plus they new exactly who was dying so much easier to focus efforts.

I wonder if they would have been able to reduce obesity in general over 9 months with focused programs etc. That could have prevented a good few deaths also. Not immediately of course but over time you could have reduced the number of people on that particular vulnerable group.

Lets see how we go with the vaccines. Maybe 9 months from now someone will come up with the idea of vaccinating the elderly first.

pretty silly video, but certainly not extreme. It is true that it is the last thing they see, I even have the same goggles, but its not much different than a bunch of unfamiliar faces yelling and pounding on your chest before you die. There is a sad component to dying with covid; patients trying to make human connection before they die, but all they see is people with PPE, muffled voices, as they are unable to obtain information your face, as dying people often desperately do . It must be a bizarre way to go.

I guess the restrictions will be the new normal for a couple of years to come yet, what a rough trend to go through though. It would be nice if your governor followed the restrictions and didn’t try to be like Governor Newsom and eat, drink, gamble and have a wedding at a Vegas casino around his friends without a face mask or social distancing.

In Australia restrictions are mild but people are still acting strange. In Western Australia where I live there have been 0 cases for the last 6 months and yet when I went to get my license renewed at the department of transport they had a red line you had to stand behind together with those plastic screens around the tellers. If they are so timid after six months of 0 cases, I don’t think even a vaccine will get things more normal for many years yet.

You have to make reservations 90 days in advance for anything at the DMV since Covid.

I found out too late and made a reservation a couple months ago for mid December. My ID expired in late September.

I mean... if someone is pound on your chest you are almost certainly unconscious. Not a lot of chest compressions are performed on people who are trying to make human connections.

Learn about anecdotes vs statistics, learn the scientific method, learn about sample sizes, learn to read (nobody here is saying there is no danger - they are saying the probability of bad outcomes for young healthy people is very low), learn about probability and then come back. If you can’t manage those things then you probably don’t have anything useful to contribute beyond reeeeeeee.

I kind of don't blame those people to be honest.

Who wouldn't want to protect themselves and their families from a killer virus?

The problem is the lack of education and clear information.

Are these contraptions even effective? In the first picture they appear to be at some strip mall or something and the lady is at an office so... why aren't those people at home? They certainly have no data to show if their set up could even work or how effective it would work.

At lot of that just seems to be attempts to get a bit of social media fame. Look at my quirky solution guys! I'm wearing an unsealed plastic bubble for some reason as I touch stuff at the shops and office. Erm... why not just wash your hands and don't touch your face?

On the other hand if these measures are actually effective then why the hell aren't we giving every person over the age of 60 their own personal "bubble" so they can be protected and we can prevent some deaths.

Theres folk who still think you wear a mask to protect yourself for infection.

That very very simple piece of information, that you wear the mask so that YOU do not spread the virus to others, is still not understood by so many people after all these months.

I think even decades from now you'll have people who say "I neve caught that virus in 2020 because I wore a mask everywhere I went".

What can we realistically do and how can we really judge when people are just so poorly informed?

I always try to make the point that we need to look at the data and then that data needs to be presented clearly and honestly to the public.

Instead we get "this is the last thing your children will see as they die from covid because they didn't wear a mask" from supposedly reputable outlets like the BBC.

Hm... pretty sure kids are among the least vulnerable groups here.

Wouldnt kids be among the most vulnerable groups when it comes to vaccine side effects though?

Does anyone think that we will actually see widely communicated risk assessments before the vaccine is rolled out? Surely the absence of stuff like that would be a major red flag?

What will the mortality rate likely settle to be for Covid-19?

What does everyone think?

Here are some numbers for reference:

No way to tell unless they can have a good estimate on how many unconfirmed cases and deaths there have been.

Back in March I seem to recall the statement being made that 80% of cases would have mild, or even no, symptoms. Thats a pretty big problem for reporting since you must assume that many of those people will simply never get tested because they either didn't know they had it or they just didn't get tested because they quarantined for 2 weeks and the symptoms went away.

Back at the start I saw many people claiming that they had Covid19 but also admitting the never got tested. So these people would not be part of the official numbers. If they ever had it at all.

Then you would need to factor in false positives and negatives. What % of confirmed cases are false positives and what % of negative tests are actually people with Covid.

Even with deaths youd have to imagine that there are at least some covid related deaths that haven't been recorded.

The rate of confirmed deaths to confirmed cases should reliably represent the MAXIMUM mortality rate.

So if people think the USA is doing the worst job with this then you can see that the worst case scenario is a 2% mortality rate.

If you start to consider factors like retirement homes and cases where patients contracted the disease in healthcare facilities you can begin to bring that 2% down.

So if you are under 40 in a rural town the the USA then you might have an almost zero chance of catching the disease plus an almost zero chance of dying even if you did catch it.

In a large city this would change though.

You then have to factor in asymptomatic and unrecorded cases etc. You could end up with a lower mortality rate.

It's kind of interesting because we have the same kind of issues with the flu it seems. I am sure many of us have had the flu but never actually had it confirmed and therefore are not part of official numbers. Meaning that the mortality rate must be lower than what is reported.

In fact with the flu a lot of people show up with symptoms and get tested and do not have the flu at all. Meaning there is a ton of other shit out there that gives flu symptoms but isn't flu. A lot of times you might have thought you have the flu and actually you don't know what you've got.

Covid19 is going to be similar but the problem we have is our media outlets just reporting cases day after day without any disclaimers.

Still, I think we could confidently say some things about this.

It appears to be both more contagious and more deadly than the regular seasonal flu.

We, the public, are not being presented with the full picture.

Random thoughts: Because of this virus, the label "Expert" is kinda funny to me. I can't take anyone serious with that.

This democratic media is still salty about South Dakota.

speaking of, it's still funny how they won't call out Newsom and Cuomo and Whitmer. hmm

They know this and it's exactly what they're gonna use to force more restrictions and retardation while blaming everyone who didn't comply with their bullshit.

Remember, they need to keep punishing everyone for not being good little doggies.

But the truth is they have no power over us ;)

Just learned about this the other day

wEaRiNg MaSkS iS hArMlEsS

I read the article in Nature. It is not convincing, mostly a bunch of anecdotal evidence, silly lab experiments, and stuff like that. They claim only 50% of Americans use masks when the surveys are over 80%. They claim that mask usage was 20% in April without answering the obvious question of why cases went down through the end of May with such low usage. They do not address the fact that cases are increasing even in places with high mask usage. They do not address the fact that places with mask mandates and gestapo like enforcement is seeing case counts rise. They trot out the lie that cases did not go up after the George Floyd Memorial Riots. They don’t address the fact that broad surveys and studies that looked at this over decades in clinical settings showed that mask usage is ineffective for viral spread - I mean doesn’t it seem weird for 100 years studies came to the same conclusion but in the past six months they get refuted based on quickie bullshit when there is a political need for it to be refuted?

point is the article is garbage. The only question that matters is if this strategy is effective at controlling the spread and you only need to look at a tracking website right now to see it absolutely is not. This is basically the “pray harder” of the COVID religion.
