How is your FPS doing during conversation cutscenes? I see noticeable drops on on camera cuts with frametime spikes.
Otherwise actual exploration, the performance is pretty much perfect
For me I'm using Fast Sync so that way I don't drop below 60 during conversations, it just fluctuates between 65-100 in conversations... Otherwise if I'm capped to 60, I keep dropping to 55, or at worst 50. Frametime spikes either way.. ag so annoying!
Yeah, it seems like the in-game vsync has issues for me too. I had to force vsync in NVCP and use RTSS to get the performance I spoke about above. Both cut scenes and in-game are working well for me now. After an hour play the FPS graph in afterburner is dead flat 60fps.
I mentioned in a previous post that ive found resolution scaling to be hideously CPU hungry. Do you have that enabled at all?
