MInecraft sold most on PS4? I thought it usually hung around the 3rd and 4th slot.

Guess this is an extension of being the top selling console.

Uncharted 4 was a huge success for Sony and the PlayStation 4. It tops thee month of May, which is always impressive for a single-platform release going up against games like Doom that are on both PS4 and Xbox One. The action-adventure game was one of the most anticipated releases of the year, and that clearly translated into huge sales for both the game itself and the hardware.

“Uncharted 4 also marked the best first month of sales for any game in the Uncharted series after Uncharted 3, which is remarkable given the fact that it launched during the holiday period in November 2011,” said Callahan. “The success of Uncharted helped Sony rank as the leading software publisher for May 2016.”

New thread is already open, but again, why are you including the digital sales?

NPD doesn't track digital sales, so, your original argument must discount them before calculating the US share (30%).

Good. With how much hate it gets on these forums I wonder if this will be salt inducing....

At this point I have to believe the GTA V and Minecraft numbers are execs, staff, devs, etc buying the game over n over n over...

If they still chart into next gen...maybe thats a good bet for some betting ppl?

The main customers for a revision are people upgrading their consoles. To put a slim on the market jeopardises these people upgrading to a Scorpio next year.

Also, it's also been heavily rumoured that one of the reasons for both these midcycle upgrades is that they cost Sony just as much as a slim would, removing any cost reduction a slim model would normally have. With Microsoft having a much more exotic architecture in comparison, I would only imagine the same would apply.
