May seems like a bloodbath! who is getting buried?

Honestly Uncharted 4 and Overwatch seem to be the only huge hits in that list imo, remove them and the list is full of games that will probably sell well but nothing spectacular, that list doesn't look really THAT great to me.

I expect battleborn to do poorly (the beta is bad) and for homefront to outshit that (the beta was even worse)

Uncharted 4 and overwatch will be totally fine

Slow for me, only interested in uncharted and im definitely waiting for complete edition with patches figured out and DLC included

Have bloodborne though to start after i finish up evil within this week

GG EA.

fuckin hell SAY SOMETHING ABOUT THIS GAME.

They posted an update yesterday and an update today. They've released multiple trailers, they've shown gameplay... I'm not sure what more than can really show.

I personally am anxiously awaiting System Requirements, but that's only really relevant to PC players.

I feel like Mirror's Edge is going to live or die based on how good of a game it is. You might say that applies to everything, but it applies a lot more to ME than something like Uncharted.

I really, really hope it's good!

Not feeling terribly confident about Mirror's Edge selling well, but I hope I'm wrong.

Personally grabbing Mirror's Edge, Uncharted and Overwatch.

Battleborn is fucked. Maybe Homefront as well but the rest have either already have huge hype trains behind them like UC4 and Doom while Mirrors Edge and TMNT have their audiences ready and waiting for them.

I'll probably still be playing Dark Souls 3, so May is pretty chill tbqh. Maybe Overwatch, but I'll probably wait until June to get on that grind.

I'm only getting Uncharted, Doom, and Mirror's Edge. For me, that is an incredibly heavy month. And though I got it on day 1, I've only played the first episode of Quantum Leap. Ay carumba.

Mirror's Edge I feel obligated to buy at launch because the second it slips off the charts EA will make sure it stays dead.

Uncharted I want to buy as well, but I still have to pick up the trilogy on PS4 and play through them for the first time, so I'm hoping I can get through them first and pick up UC4 somewhere down the line.

Easily the lightest month of the year so far for me.
Don't think I'll getting anything at all.
Things are gonna get bad in June though.

Day One for 3 games, renting the others first before I decide to purchase.

Overwatch
Uncharted 4
Valkyria Chronicles: Remastered

Doom (GameFly)
Mirror's Edge (GameFly)
TMNT (GameFly)

Homefront is dead in the water, especially after the MP beta.
Battleborn is in risky position, since absolutely nobody seems interested despite a two week open beta of its own.
Doom will live or die by how well the campaign reviews.
Mirror's Edge could flop, but the diehard fans will absolutely come out.
Platinum's TMNT likely doesn't need to do well with critics or the GAF audience - the licenced property will carry it across a finish line.

Overwatch and Uncharted seem safe. Though the former could still fail to maintain an audience with so many competitors out this year.

Just Uncharted 4 for me. I am not interested in the rest. Doom and Battleborn beta made me less inclined to even buy it at a discount. NPD should be interesting for both April
and May.

Uncharted and Overwatch are the only ones getting out unscathed, Doom might steal a few sales too.
The rest are boned. Which is upsetting, Mirrors Edge could have done well in its original release date.

The only game that won't be a flat out bomb on that list is UC4.

Overwatch will sell OK on PC but nothing on consoles. Overwatch wont be the big hit people are thinking on PC. It'll be a heroes of the storm example of blizz hit not hearthstone. Who agrees??

If those are all the significant releases in May then I don't see myself losing a cent. June and July are going to be busy though.

Doom, Uncharted 4 and Overwatch gonna be the big sellers of the month.

Battleborn and Homefront gonna be buried.

Mirrors Edge gonna sell "ok".

10 Uncharted 4 (big fan)
24 Turtle (supporting platinum games)
27 Dragon Quest Heroes II (see my avatar)

Doom, Mirror, and Overwatch can wait

Skipping games that will likely be mediocre isn't an odd decision at all.

Quite a lot of over 80 games are mediocre to bad, quite a lot of under 80 games are actually pretty good. Metacritic isn't a good measurement, I prefer to read whole reviews and the reasoning behind individual scores to see what's for me.

Battleborn - Buried
uncharted 4 - Will do really well.
doom - Half buried
homefront - Buried
mirror's edge - Half Buried
overwatch - Will do decent
teenage mutant ninja turtles - Buried

Mirror's Edge is something I'm definitely looking forward to, as I was a huge fan of the original. Doom as well. (For the SP, strangely enough). Even stranger is that I was actually looking forward to Crytek's Homefront, too. Still on the fence because,.. Homefront.

I've never been a fan of the Uncharted series, but I might give 4 a go, only because I loved The Last of Us.

But until May rolls around, I can see Dark Souls 3 and Quantum Break eating up most of my (non-work) time.

The only day 1 release for me in May is Stellaris. Gonna be my first foray into a Paradox Grand Strategy game and going from all the pre-release streams and devlogs I'm hoping for this to be "the" release for me for the year.

Only other game on the list that I have the slightest interest in is Overwatch, and the beta phase and the extended hype cycle have left me a bit burned out honestly. I'll get it if a decent number of my friends do.

April is way crazier because it also came with tons of amazing digital-only games.

I'm only getting Doom, Mirror's Edge 2 and Uncharted 4 in May.

I'm getting Uncharted with my PS4 (just waiting for E3 to make sure I won't regret my purchase because of a new model or price drop). I have a standing pre-order for Overwatch, and I'm getting Fire Emblem Fates (still no luck with the LE, so 'Ill probably just buy Birthright and Conquest separately). With Mirror's Edge, I want to wait for reviews. DOOM feels like the kind of thing I'll probably buy during a summer sale down the line.

If I had to venture a guess, I'd say TMNT, Battleborn, Homefront, and possibly Mirror's Edge and DOOM are going to have a tough time. Platinum games tend not to sell too much, I can't see Battleborn coming out on top against Overwatch, Mirror's Edge and Homefront feel like they're being sent out to die right now. DOOM should do okay, but it doesn't strike me as the kind of thing that'll sell exceedingly well.

Uncharted 4 for me, will wait for Battleborn review ( love all the Borderlands series)

I'm fully expecting Battleborn and Homefront to tank, Doom may or may not tank. Early impressions have not been great but maybe the full package will offer some better results.

Overwatch will do well, fun game and Blizzard's name alone will get them sales on it.

Mirror's Edge and TMNT I can see going either way, will really depend on them having a clean launch and having a good overall presentation.

Uncharted 4 is well.... Uncharted so it'll sell gangbusters regardless.

Slow for me, only interested in uncharted and im definitely waiting for complete edition with patches figured out and DLC included

Have bloodborne though to start after i finish up evil within this week

You just pick up a PS4 or something? Not judging, just curious as most of us have probably long finished those games you mention.
