Thanks. If Zelda OOT is really limited to 150,000 copies, then it'll be interesting to see which game comes out on top for the week. Regardless most likely 3DS > PSP in next week's charts.

yup, 3DS only needed some good games

It needs a lot more of those now though. After Zelda, there's only Tales of the Abyss and Star Fox 64 to prop it up for the whole summer.

I fixed the OP for Resident Evil. Though I think I calculated the drop percentage incorrectly.

Some retailers say it sells well. Medarots and Custom Robo fans support it.

This makes sense. I am a Medarot/Medabots fan and I would buy Cardboard Senki.

Retailers say it does with adults being the primary buying market for the game.

Also Litttle Battlers and Steins;Gate seem to do rather well.

I bet lot of these adults are people who had a N64 back in 1998...

Let's hope that after Starfox 64 (which will probably bomb), Nintendo will seriously start to make new Ip for the handheld. IP focussed on the 3D effect.

The average first week to LTD ratio for Biohazard games on Nintendo systems is hovering around 35%. So The Mercenaries might end up at 175,000 if that stays consistent. At a 50% similar to the original release of Biohazard Deadly Silence, then 120,000 would be reached. Not bad, really.

Looking at the screenshots Level-5 has released for Cardboard Senki, and what the game actually looks like on PSP - I imagine there's gotta be a Vita version planned.

Also, watching some gameplay of the game shows it has huge production values. It has an opening animated monologue, before going into the opening animated theme song, and before going into a bunch of voice acted cutscenes.

I'm surprised this one is doing so good lately, moving a steady amount each week without any major MGS release that bumps interest (in fact one could say the HD collection announcement could have hurt it).

Also surprising because the original release had trouble (pricedrop) to sell the remaining 100k of its 800k launch shipment. But it went on to sell that remaining stock, and didn't lose that much value, because this budget 3k yen release still happened and its doing pretty good. Nice comeback so to speak.

In Japan the HD Collection is just MGS2&3, Peace Walker is it's own separate HD release. The transfarring announcement might've helped it too.

Is that surprising? PSP has been dominating sales for weeks, and among the new users I guess there are people who had a potential interest on it (it´s one of the best games of the system after all, and it even has some winks to the Monster Hunter crew.)

Peace Walker HD comes with a free psp version.

Woah! Did not know that, sort of a genius move. Does the 360 version come with anything extra?

It will sell no more than 15k no matter what. So it's probably a no.

Spiegel beated me. You get a copy with that, or you get it online (to use with Vita), or you get it on 360 where there's no transfarring. Doesn't really benefit the UMD version here.

Being a top pick is not surprising, going from bomb status to budget re-release legs is. Normally when the original release faces overshipping and pricedrops, you don't do a budget re-release or it does little, as the value is lower or the remaining copies are still there. PW cleared those copies and the value didn't went down, the original was 5k and this budget edition is 3k and doing fine.

Bored to trim the list of so many small flies, predict-a-thon week ahead, with the derisory Top20 cutoffs everything should chart. Random bit of advice: beware of a 4k prediction of a 8k seller adding a mighty 100% to your off-total in percentage ranking.

Bleach isn't really that amazingly popular, and this is a new unproven entry on a platform that never had a Bleach game before.

They should port it to 3DS to hedge their best, a la Rodea the Sky Soldier.

Its not like unknown 3rd party titles are sellin that much on 3ds..... tthis game will bomb, there hardcore vita title should be their focus now.

Well, at least on 3DS it has a chance of being localized, and enjoying some form of success.

Don't worry, it'll get localized. I mean, it's not a Nintendo or Namco game. ;)

Though going the Rodea route isn't a bad idea either.

Number of Zelda commercials on TV here is pretty insane...even on the trains. They are bringing out the Arashi power again, but it's kind of strange because most female Arashi fans are probably more Mario than Zelda fans...(sorry for making generalization, but this is even talking from direct experience with a bunch of Arashi fans)
