Literally means absolutely nothing lol

That's bull when you consider how much support they are showing for mid-tier titles like bringing Yakuza to an extremely small fanbase, porting Japanese titles like Oreshika (sp?) and general Vita support, Tearaway, Until Dawn, etc.

yup

One question though, if this happens to be not a fan remake, does this series have enough materials to get a sequel or a reboot for this era? I mean how can they expand its universe and gameplay to suit the demands of current-gen?

Oh my god! Please be true.
Don't play with my childhood!
Just like the Bloodborne "Poject Beast" leak we got around the same time last year before the E3 reveal.

And if they're willing to revive Medievil, then it pretty much means nothing in their back catalog is off limits. The series was awesome, but it hasn't been around in two generations and wasn't hugely popular when it was around.

Jumping Flash for Morpheus next?

God knows I want to believe, but we've seen far too many high-quality fakes for me to put my heart on the line just yet. Let's see if anything else shows up over the next few days.

Pretty easily, I'd say. They can tailor this game as a zelda clone, with combat, puzzles and light platforming. I think that would be perfect for the ps4 lineup.

I feel that if they really were to reveal a MediEvil reboot, last year's Playstation Anniversary would've been the perfect time To coincide with revival of old IPs. So I'm thinking this is fake.

It did have a remaster on PSP though, did that sell well?

You could add that text to virtually any video.

It looks good, but so do projects made by animation students.

IIRC there was one made just a while back that was similar to Ghosts 'n Goblins.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=grJZEVRx2vY <- typical amateur work or a personal project. I use to call indie games college art projects because I'd only hear about them on websites from DigiPen and Full Sail.

What kind of leak is that? I'm interested in another entry, especially with upgraded visuals.

Personally, I'd be satisfied if it played like a PS1 platformer. It would probably bomb if they took my advice though.

Yeah how much dlc and bugs can they push on the consumer?

Just make an enjoyable game. Great gameplay outshines gimmicks and AAA bs double speak.

What would this game even play like?
Medievil 2 is one of those games I started as a kid but never got to playing the whole way through. I was easily scared as a kid.

Not sure what's being said here...

Nintendo operates differently than Sony. Most of their games are AAA due to them coming out directly from Nintendo's division and not outsourced as much as Sony's (or involving other companies that aren't already first party). I feel like funding wise, they are much less diverse, besides Captain Toad.

But really, this conversation is about Sony and what's considered AAA and what's not. I could be wrong about Nintendo, but a bunch of titles aren't getting AAA money but instead AA level stuff like Tearaway.

If this game is in fact real and the revival of classics is really underway, then I will be hoping for that Legend Of Dragoon rumor to come to fruition.

Year of the remake?

- Medievil
- Ratchet & Clank
- Uncharted Remastered

Seems like Sony want to take over the holiday season with nostalgia. At least its better than something mediocre like The Order 1886.

Best wishes.

I'm with #teamreal.

Have a buddy at SCEE Cambridge Studio (Guerrilla Cambridge).
My guess was... they are working on Borezone Mercenary (next Killzone) for the PS4.
Gonna ask him tomorrow.

Your buddy and people he works with made one of the best FPS, on a handheld or otherwise. Your buddy deserves better friends.
I'm only half joking.

If you were a real leaker why would you space it out like this and not just info dump all at once

Cause that's what leakers always do? "follow me on twitter for the sweet reveals over the next week so I can get my fifteen minutes of fame"

Just surprised. Thought Unreal Engine 4 being scalable meant it could work on PS3... Learned something new today.

This could be the year of classics. Bringing back some old IPs even if this is fake

Yes it is very scalable, but it needs at least machines with DX11 equivalent hardware: PC, PS4, XBone, Apple devices supporting Metal starting from Iphone 5S and Ipad Air to get a decent game with all features. I can work on inferior hardwares like old mobile devices but only for 2D Games.

I didin't know you didin't know that, so I hope it helped you. :)

Obviously a PS Vita 2 launch game.

Lol, UE4 can run on PS Vita (some teams managed to make it run on it) but it is not officially supported and I don't think it will be one day, so don't even expect it to support PS Vita 2 (sth that will never probably happen or exist).

Killzone is still boring as hell. There is no reason for another sequel.
And surely not a good reason to force Cambridge to do a KZ sequel.
They are awesome. Let them make their own games/IPs.

Back on topic:
#teamfake right now

Ummm.....so if in-house AAA, if not in-house not AAA? I am trying to wrap my head around the logic of something illogical. That's o'right tho... the original poster didn't see much worth in responding so.
