I think we've all probably talked about physically attractive people with our friends before, that's not really what I was saying.
Well, those kind of threads are exactly that.

Because her feet probably stink.
Those of most women I have been with didn't (thankfully).
Also, if you by chance happen to be into butts (like I do), I have some bad news for you when it comes to smell, mate... : D

Toes are ugly and do not turn me on,
Fair enough, I feel the same about tits.

I'm getting more annoyed with foot fetishist's inability to understand why average people think their fetish is weird.
Well, I guess you need to get used to it, it's so super common it's almost vanilla now.

I don't see how. Rubbing one out quickly if you really need to (you don't by the way) and getting back to enriching or productive things in your life seems healthier to me.
It's the "shameful" part of your sentence that worries me.

Sure there is an element of that, but I view shooting the shit with my bros and occasionally making mention of how hot someone is a little different than sharing masturbatory material with randos, personally. I don't share pics with my bros, I'm confident they know where to look if they need to, and I can't recall any times that we've bonded over particular pictures or anything like that, huddling together and going man look at this one, right? Like I said it skeeves me out as a topic of conversation when it's anything beyond "man she's fucking hot" when something relevant comes up, because it's not art appreciation, it's enthusiasm for spank bank material. Just my take, I'm not asking to shut the threads down. Enjoy yourselves you filthy animals.

I knew this was exactly what you would respond to that with lol.
1) The feet I've made love to did not stink and B) The things you like can stink too.

I just like how an ass looks and feels in the hand, yeah I'm well aware that's an exit point and am not too interested in getting my face up in there for any reason. I'm not going to attempt to explain why the sight of a nice perky ass makes you want to grab hold and go to town, but in my mind, I don't see how feet do the same thing. You see a foot and it makes you want to slay some pussy? Or does it make you want to do things to/with the foot?

Well, I guess you need to get used to it, it's so super common it's almost vanilla now.
How is this even known, what's the data on this? I have no doubt that online surveys that masturbators and fetishists take will skew towards positivity. I really doubt that it's as common as people make it out to be, but I'm just speaking from personal opinions of course.

It's "shameful" part of your sentence that worries me.
I don't see why this should be worrying to anyone in the slightest, I simply view it as something I'm not particularly proud of doing, I view it as wasted time and energy. Of course a lot of things are, but I have no problem telling people I watched some garbage TV or played a game for 6 hours straight, etc. It's just not something I'd feel good about telling someone I just did if they asked, you know what I mean? I'm not saying it's the most evil thing in the world, just something I more often than not feel negative about having done afterwards.

Well said.. : D
In the end it's some frat boy shit some people enjoy and others don't.
I like it though...

Because it's true.
1) sex is gross.
2) you are lying if you think your sex is less gross than mine.
3) I like butts too, so we are on the same page here.

Off course you don't. I don't see how tits are doing this for anyone, yet I surely don't condemn it.

You see a foot and it makes you want to slay some pussy? Or does it make you want to do things to/with the foot?
why not both at the same time?

Mate, just google any actress and see what the suggestions are Google gives you.
Also lots of studies on this.

But why, though.
It's just something that you enjoy. Like drinking a beer or similar. Other people are doing much more destructive things like taking drugs or booze for feeling better...

1) Sure to some degree but it's clearly not all equal
2) idk, I like it pretty vanilla you foot licker :messenger_winking:

Yeah I'm not super into tits either tbh, but I can understand how it's a part of the traditional foreplay and mating rituals. They're right there if you're making out and they're nice and soft and squishy and sensitive, it's logical to go there to me, to incorporate them into the mix. I don't view footplay the same way personally.

why not both at the same time?
Honestly though is it not just an obsession with the fetish object? Like yeah I enjoy asses, but that doesn't mean fetishizing it. It's purely a visual that fuels the desire to crush that poon, and I feel like what I've heard of foot fetishists it's literally an obsession with the foot itself, the foot becomes an object of desire. We can say that's the same as someone saying they like ass, but I don't know, it feels a lot different to me.

Google. Studies. Sure. Like I said, I have little doubt that these would be skewing positive and have doubts about how comprehensive knowledge about this can be, but if you can point me to some of the studies you've personally looked at which helped inform your opinion, that would be more valuable than pointing me to Google and saying they have data on this.

But why, though.

I don't view it as just another thing in the vague category of "things I enjoy" equal to the rest, it's primarily a solitary and selfish act that I wouldn't really feel comfortable talking about my personal experiences with, with anyone. Outside of this meta sense of course lol.

In the sense of the other posts Whitesnake made, we really have a loss here.

I would have preferred a long ban for the rhetoric, to set him right, rather than eliminate everything about him in one go, including all the well-written posts.
Yeah I really don't like that ban, he was a good contributor. Flimsy justification for a perm if you ask me.

For me it seems it's not in any way different how people are into tits or butts.
I can have normal sex just fine. I just like looking at or touching feet while having sex.

Maybe it's the reason why I don't like the word "fetish" much. I am not fetishizing anything, I just find other parts of a girls body turning me on than what other people do when having otherwise normal sex.

I know two other guys who are into the same thing, and it's not any different for them when they have sex with their girlfriends.

We are not all Tarantino style weirdos... ;)

There's a threshold where we have zero tolerance, and this hit that threshold. I have a responsibility to all of our users to provide an environment free of that kind of rhetoric.

This might be a derail; I'd be happy to take it to the ban review thread, but could the same standard be applied to everyone? Based on what I've seen here in general, slurs are ok to use unless they are applied to black people. I've seen slurs against Asians and whites that were just shrugged off, and nothing happened to the posters to my knowledge. If it's good for the goose, it's good for the gander.

There are a ton of examples (and discussion around it) in this thread:

Understood and appreciated. Nobody wants that kind of tone here. Not only that, it also opens the door to a whole world of ugly ideas and people.

I guess I lean a bit more (and sometimes erroneously so, as we’ve seen) towards second chances and teachable moments. I would have liked Whitesnake to have a chance to knock it off, and understand that kind of dialogue isn’t welcome here, in light of being a storied contributor.

I feel like getting a massive ban, and being harshly dressed down in the ban comment, would have sent the message, not only to him, but any imitators.

Still, I can understand drawing a line in the sand. Whitesnake has drawn a particularly damning portrait of himself and the things he believes. It’s not a surprise that someone like that may not be welcome here, nor that such a comment would invoke harsh, immediate retribution.

In any case, thank you for clarifying and always being cool with communication. It really is appreciated.

Alright, thanks for looking into it. I made 1 report from that thread; I just re-submitted it now. But to be clear, it's really not about 1 post in particular. That thread is chock full of slurs. In my opinion it would be much better to either choose to stamp out all slurs entirely, or let people be fast and loose with what they say.
