I hate that I’ve started paying too much attention to the reactions again. All of MHK’s talk about it, then Vyse surprising me with how my reactions are doing, have got me checking in every half and hour or so, like some kind of junkie.

I’ve never struggled with an addiction to any substance, but these fucking emojis. :messenger_tears_of_joy:

Anyway, If you enjoyed that post, don’t forget to react and subscribe to see more. It really helps out the channel profile, guys.

Well, if you feel you're addicted you can always take a short break. I was just being funny in that other post because I know highlighting a Top 20 NeoGAF member is a running gag with MiyazakiHatesKojima MiyazakiHatesKojima .
Totally. No excuses necessary — I loved your post, and it’s always nice to know you’re being thought of.

I’m just playing it up for Gaf a little bit. :messenger_winking: I can quit anytime.

Right?

I find the increasing usage of the term "stanning" odd. When did this become a thing? That song is really old and I had never heard that usage until maybe this year, and now I'm seeing people use it here daily.

I had to ask what it meant about a year ago.

It’s just one of the many examples of the internet affecting (read: fucking up) the English language.

A word or phrase starts getting used on social media, it spreads like AIDs, then all the sheep are using it. When you ask them why, they respond with “that’s always been a thing, dummy” with a straight face.

I’ve seen it a zillion times. Example is the majority of people on the internet replacing the word “in” with the word “on” in sentences where it doesn’t belong because the internet is a shit English teacher and most people are too stupid to realise it.

Also the woke crowd uses it too. They always have to adopt black slang to show how accepting and woke they are.

That reminds me, I'm not sure if this is a regional thing or not, but up here in Canada, my whole life people have said "In line" when they are waiting in a line for something. In American media I've often heard people say "on line" meaning the same thing, which isn't used as much today I think for obvious reasons, but the internet aside, I never understood why people would say on line instead of in line to mean waiting in a line for something.

I see it used in the Politics forum all the time, it may have been a hip hop thing but the larger culture has absorbed it for some reason.

It’s a pet hate of mine. I’ve had Americans argue with me that it’s always been a thing. It might have in extremely small regional examples, but it wasn’t so widespread as it has been since social media came around. They deny this though.

I’ve done some research on it and the best I can come up with is it’s an American East Coast thing at it’s origin.

It’s extremely dumb, though.

I always say in line. I'm in line to purchase Emma Roberts used panties. Online is for the internet.

Understandable considering the types of people that post there.

It used to be a hip hop thing. Now I see it more from k-pop crazies on twitter than anything.
Oh boy more woke white people.

The coasts are cancer.

Hold on a second. Are you calling Eminem black? :pie_thinking:
The character was named Stan. The end.

Has there not yet been a thread made for the newer Brexit developments and the general all-around shitshow that's been happening in Britain? I'd make one if I could, but if someone was to make one it'd be nice to read through the community's thoughts.

There is one in Politics but I am not sure if it is updated yet.

What happened? (as I live in England)

Brexit got delayed again until January 31st, BoJo's trying to push for another election between now and then but Parliament are rejecting it.

Y'know, I gotta say, no matter how shitty life gets for me I know I can come on here and get cheered up by you goobs. You retards are like my family. Probably shouldn't be calling strangers on the internet that but 🤷‍♂️. I know I bully a lot of you, and I'm sorry if it comes across as genuinely mean, that isn't my intention. It's my way of showing affection half the time. But I'm really grateful I get to be on a forum where I can unashamedly be myself and be (for the most part) accepted.

Keep being you, you buncha stinky diaper babies, you. :messenger_heart:
