That. I still have to play the first two God of Wars.roxya said:Uhhhhhhhh
God of War: Chains of Olympus comes out in March.
God of War PSP comes out in June.
What does GAF think... buy the game twice or wait a few agonising months until June?![]()

They can make it back with sales, that's my point. If they can use GTA to make 360 hardware, and the game itself, sell gangbusters, what basically amounts to a $50-million advertising expense practically pays for itself. I still think that they WILL charge for it, because it's Microsofttjhooker said:MS charges $100 for a $5 WiFi adapter and you think GTA DLC is going to be FREE :lol
They have to make their $50M back somehow not to mention episodes the size of San Andreas and Vice City won't be costing less than $30-$40 a pop.

Why would you announce a bundle, thus giving folks a reason to NOT buy a PS3 now? And announce it will come with the DUALSHOCK controller.
Joe Blow: I'll just wait for the bundle...
Way to "kill" PS3 HW sales for the next 3 months

TheDuce22 said:I think MGS has gone downhill sales wise because the story and enemys have become more and more ridiculous. Not sure fans of realistic shooters/stealth games want to fight vampires or people possesed by their arms or whatever other bullshit, then listen to preachy, cheesy dialog for 20 minutes at a time while they try to decipher a nonsensical plot. Someone needs to knock some sense into Hideo Kojima.

I wanted to get a $399 PS3 next week but I know that if I hold on to the money it's going to be spent by the time the MGS4 bundle hits.
what do I do?
plus when is the bundle hitting?
sajj316 said:As much as I agree with that its a good deal. 499 is still 499 and it still detracts potential buyers. I just believe that the PS3 is a good year from hitting the 299.99 price point. If we get it by X-mas 08, great as the sooner the better for my friend here who can't afford 499.

Downhill? You do know that Metal Gear Solid 3 was released don't you? Everything you mentioned points towards MGS2, which was indeed a lesser part of the series, albeit far from a bad game.TheDuce22 said:I think MGS has gone downhill sales wise because the story and enemys have become more and more ridiculous. Omg rite <--------- Stop tearing down. Just relax.
I just got a question, it seems everyone here is so confident that people will buy GTA for the 360 just because of the dlc? You've got to be kidding me. That's just WOW territory.
People don't even know how the whole dlc thing is going to pan out. I do however believe in logic, if people told me people were buying GTA on the 360 because the 360 is simply the cheaper option to play the game on, that's fair. But people buying GTA on 360 because of dlc? Is it fair if I say people will associate GTA with the Playstation brand name and therefore actually sell more on the Ps3? Please, for fuck sakes. Casual could careless about the goddamn dlc and casuals could careless about the damn brand association but if anything, I'd put brand association havning more pulling power than dlc.
Jesus. Omg rite, you are sure are on fire in this thread. Do you own a Ps3? If not, grab one in June, good time to get one.
And uh, Too Human and Ninja Gaiden are NOT MGS caliber.
Could you please explain to me as to exactly how Metal Gear Solid fails to come close to GTA and/or Halo?omg rite said:My whole argument was that PLUS the cheaper price of the 360, along with Halo and GoW being on the system AND the fact that MGS does not come close to Halo or GTA in 2008 will lead to GTA helping 360 more. How is that some sort of insane conclusion I've reached?
