I missed you, music.
As soon as I could hear those little alien critters, it was like I could feel them crawling up my spine.
Fuck.
I missed you, music.
I don't understand the freaking out. Did people just not think it was being developed?
Isn't that the racist Wii folder guy?
Funny how people see things different ways. I'm way more hyped that Nintendo is doing this in-house and Retro's game STILL hasn't been shown - they must have something big.
Isn't that the racist Wii folder guy?
Exactly. Seeing this put a smile on my face. The Prime series is awesome."Yeah, it exists."
Sometimes, that's all you need.
well there goes a new direction. more prime. sigh.
No that's Josh Thomas.
Got it, so then he is probably right here.Asbolutely not. He's the Unseen64 guy.

Lots of great FPS makers from Europe.
Apparently Retro isn't working on it.
Why would anyone think it was in development? Federation Force bombed, Other M bombed. I was expecting a small budget game if Metroid got revived, not Prime 4.

Yes, that's right. Where have yunbeen the last few years? We thought Metroid was dead.I don't understand the freaking out. Did people just not think it was being developed?
You know what, I think this is a really great counterexample to all the comments about how terrible it is to reveal games very early at E3.
I understand that angle (FF7 Remake, Last Guardian, etc), but as a huge Metroid fan I completely wholeheartedly agree with them doing this.
We had zero hope. We've lived through Other M and Federation Force. People were saying (rightfully) that the franchise could be dead.
That us passionate Metroid fans can now live our lives for the next 2 years or so knowing that at least an attempt at a new, real, potentially fantastic Metroid game is underway is huge.
It actually instantly changed my feelings about Nintendo. That maybe they really do care about us Metroid fans after all.
I don't care if we don't get the game until 2019. Just knowing that it's coming, and it could be great, is massive. I'll tune in to every conference they've got over the next few years hoping to see more.
And though it's tough we didn't see anything, the music alone gave me chills.
Metroid Prime 3 came out a decade ago. There will be more time between Prime 3 and Prime 4 than there was between Super Metroid and Fusion.well there goes a new direction. more prime. sigh.
Already dreaming of a Metroid-themed Switch.
Retro is busy making Diddy Kong Racing and Donkey Kong Country: Die Another Day
You get 2 metroid games announced, one 3d and one 2.5d.Latest Metroid games were bad, pretty bad.
Not worth making new games
And I am outa here, good luck nintendo.
It's probably a 2019 title. What retro has been doing the last 3 years?
Metroid Prime 4 and Samus Returns will finally shut down all the Metroid stans that where constanly pressed on all the Nintendo threads.
Bless.
Am I greedy if I want the new 2D Metroid on Switch and Prime 4?
