I'm just finishing off GZ before I properly start TPP this weekend, so apart from saving the POW's and extracting certain Soldiers, are there any other things I really need to do, before I transfer my save over ? like S Rank all the missions on Normal + Hard, collect all the XOF patches and tapes ect.....

For what it's worth, I didn't rescue every prisoner in GZ including "The Eye and The Finger" but still got them. I wonder if it's tied to just beating all of GZ's missions...

I don't know if people are still wondering about the golden arm, but I got it and I only did GZ on normal and hard, first 2 side ops on normal, and the 2 dejavu and arisen ones on normal and hard.

Got all the XOF patches last night, now tonight I'll do the two bonus missions and leave it at that. Whatever I get for all of that is fine, I don't have time to go for 100% and all that. Buying TPP on Friday and wanted to have a decent save to bring over. Very hyped.

You don't have to extract everyone on one mission playthrough, no. You do have to finish the mission though.

I'm so frustrated, I did all that work in GZ to get the bonuses in TPP but I'm almost all the way through the damn single player campaign, and Konami has said nothing about the problems in over 24 hours, meanwhile, they like to tweet and retweet about how awesome MGSV is...

It truly sucks but you can at least get through the early parts of the game (first 6-10 hours) without missing the need for the GZ unlocks fine.

Yup. I actually got online last night and grabbed my GZ save, but it makes every trip to the iDroid last almost a full minute. Quit out, went offline.

Wound up unlocking a bunch of staff (Hideo!) and the GZ sneaking suit, but not the MGS1 skin or the golden arm (yet).

Just got to mission 6, after completing and returning to mother base, The Eye and The Finger, plus another 4 or 5 turned up.
The golden arm was after rescuing the bionics expert.
The sneaking suits are there as well.
I got 100% on GZ.

Which one was the bionics expert? What mission is he from?

Not sure if a new thread is warranted, but it's definitely an annoying issue especially since some people have it working while others (such as myself) don't, all the while not seeing any updates from Konami.

Well, I guess a new thread would be a good place to find out how many people suffer from this, kinda... as this thread isn't exclusively for people with server issues.

Also, do people have the same error as me? Which is 10012. I've seen people with different errors but this is the one I keep getting, usually one or two seconds after I try connecting.

Well, you can go to the full staff list and have it organized by recruitment order. That should be good enough.

Yes, it's horrible. And every time you start the game, it automatically signs in, which takes forever, and then shows you several pages of announcements that you've already seen. At least you can disconnect from the internet from the ACC.

I think you need to be connected to use the super rad mobile app, though. :/ And to do FOB stuff but fuck that.

Oh well I went full Rambo mode in GZ and got 19 out of the..21? NPCs. However Im not sure if I did it the right way as I made some shortcuts here and there and theres no way to track stuff properly. Im not aiming for 100% anyway so if I manage to grab a few of them in PP Im fine.
