MS' insistance on making things complicated is infuriating.
Dealing with them is akin to a used car salesman.

So, it's basically like this;
I know, but some people seems to read just the title of the thread rather than whole post.That's what I said in the OP.
man. so tier 2 europeans, how do you feel?
no insults taken. and sorry if i do not the basics of taxes. but as i live in Saudi Arabia. we do not have taxes at all. " or maybe the tax is included in the items we pay" but no one mentions it and we didn't study it
the only place where i had to pay tax is when i was in Canada studying in the University " and even then i got almost all the tax i paid back when i finished"

however those who pre-order the console now will not get any games for free with their system, at least nothing has been announced for now.
This must be a mistake. Wasn't the whole point of this to boost pre-orders? Those who already pre-ordered are already committed smh.
One step forward, two steps back.
words have power, man!
It's not hard to understand, but the way they're relaying the information in small bits really speaks something about what's going on with Games division at the moment.
It feels like they think gamers are stupid

All that info was in both original press release, I think it was clear enough from the start. The confusion comes from people gathering indirect information from hearsay and partial reports/translations of other declarations.
It's everything that's wrong with communication on the internet : everything was clearly stated in the official sources, but the more people talk about it without reading them, the more confusing it gets.
As if you needed to make them small drawings to make them understand how preorders work...
So, it's basically like this;
Haha
man. so tier 2 europeans, how do you feel?
You have to pay $60 extra if you pre order.What about us Tier 3 Europeans?
What about us Tier 3 Europeans?
The other thing is it looks like this is just for the Day One editions. Amazon UK has already run out of these and is only selling the standard edition which it looks like doesn't include FIFA.
You're wrong.
Don't worry they will do a 180 very soon.
Seriously? Microsoft needs to come out and offer or comment on US/Canada. I feel fuckin cheated since I don't live in EU. Is my money just not as important to them?
What the fuck.
This.It's to prevent people from cancelling their preorders.
As you wish;Please add a picture of angry Willy Wonka next to You get nothing.
You're wrong.
No one talks about taxes in Saudi Arabia? You don't even know that they exist? That's very interesting. In any case, you do pay taxes. Taxes are what keeps your society going. There'd be no military, police, fireworkers, hospitals, roads and the like without them. Thankfully for you, you live in one of the world's wealthiest countries, so you don't need to care too much. The oil pays for most of that. Taxes are low in Saudi Arabia. 0% VAT, which I think is what you were talking about, and only 2.5% income tax. That's quite ridiculous compared to Europe. Corporate tax is 20% though.

Seems like NA preorder numbers are good. Oh and $499 = 373 but instead we pay 499 . The free game just reduces the premium price we have to pay in Europe. Even with taxes included X1 should not cost more than 450 compared to the US.
