Most Anticipated Game of 2011: Winner Revealed!

But I love in Florida. :/

Does it rain in there?

Maybe if it rains and its cloudy, you'll get the warm fuzzy feeling as well :)

I think the most important part of it is the fact that in December you can genuinely take 2 weeks to do whatever you want without having a bad feeling of not doing work or any reponsibilties. That's why I love the holidays becuase THAT is the time to play new, long adventure games and RPGs. If that game is a new Zelda, well all the better.

You really mean that? I think there are maybe too many great games coming out, so many that my wallet probably can't keep up.
That I'm not excited about any of those games? Yeah. I'll probably play Zelda: Skyward Sword, Batman Arkham City, Catherine, Rayman Origins and Super Mario 3DS of those mentioned in the OP but I can't really get excited about "more of the same". (Catherine might be different but its gameplay looks a bit tedious nevertheless.)

So when is Zelda suppose to come out?
Q4.

AC: Revelations, Gears 3 and Uncharted 3 as they're all another entry in their respective - and thoroughly enjoyable - franchises. The original blew away even my lofty expectations, so I'm very much looking forward to Batman: AC.

Then there's Dota 2. I've never played DotA or any of its derivatives but Valve have a storied history of making brilliant games. "Because it's Valve" is reason enough with a pedigree such as theirs. If I had to narrow my choices down to a single game it would be this.

Uncharted 3. God, I can't wait for the single player and the multiplayer. I'm so sad the beta is going to end on Friday. :(

Zelda: Skyward Sword
Zelda looks so disappointing to me, i want either a HD TP or Wind Waker 2. Not to sure about the art-style and motion-plus gameplay (seems tiresome, slicing every enemy in a certain way). Also i havent seen any trailer than really hyped me like the TP e3 2005 trailer. (or maybe i somehow missed it? if so please give youtube link :) )

So my vote goed to UNCHARTED 3.

Zelda: Skyward Sword

I really love the fact that on the time of writing this, the top 5 games have a primary focus on single player.

Multiplayer is good but only when it's definitive.

In short:
Biggest enemy of 'Single Player' experiences is 'Multiplayer'
Biggest enemy of 'Multiplayer' is 'Fragmentation'.

Also Rocksteady totally blew me away once, I'll take my hat off to them if they do it twice but I'm not expecting it to happen especially not on a 2 year cycle.

1 Deus Ex: Human Revolution
2 Batman: Arkham City
3 Skyrim

Skyrim
Bioshock
Deus Ex HR

I haven't been keeping up much so I might be missing some.

It'll be a good game, but I agree. And as much as I hate to admit it, the graphics are a massive turn off. I need a HD Zelda! **hides**

What you need is Dolphin.

I've already pre-oredered
Skyrim
Battlefield 3
Arkham City
Saints Row: the Third

I just recently got into the AC games and I love them!
I played and beat AC2 over the 4th of July weekend and I'm currently about half way through Brotherhood, so I'll naturally need to pick up Revelation this fall as well.

I'd like to get Dark Souls, Withcher2, and Dead Island also.

The more I see and hear of Dead Island the more intrigued I am with it.

All these games to me are GOTY contenders. If I had to pick a favorite though it would be ....

Skyrim, simply because of one thing, DRAGONS!!

1. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
(2. Uncharted 3)

No more games for me (other then these two above). Steam summer sale ruined me :(

Dark Souls

Demons Souls was an awesome experience, and I am so much looking forward to more, bigger and better.

Will be the only game that I can see myself getting day one.

Dark Souls or Disgaea 4. I don't know which.

Thank god they're a month apart, or my life would have become hell.

True...many sequels and more of the same. But nevertheless some great titles for me personally.

I guess the real innovation can be found in XBLA, PSN and Wiiware. ( especially looking forward to Journey ) Kinda funny that some of those games do innovate, where most blockbusters choose to go down the same road.

A few games...

Prey 2
Uncharted 3
Deus Ex Human Revolution.

Only thing I hate is the AWFUL brown graphics of Deus Ex. I'd rather it be all blue than horrible brown.

Well, it's not that odd considering blockbuster games want to be movies.

I think Sonic Generations is pretty anticipated. Personally, it's between Skyward Sword/Skyrim/Battlefield 3. It's too difficult to choose.

Woah I go to bed and overnight the thread explodes!

Looks like I have quite a bit of tallying to do. :)

Skyrim

I really need a long pause from reality since I haven't been playing too many video games lately. And everything in this game looks just perfect for me. Hopefully my PC can handle the good settings.
