Most Anticipated Game of 2011: Winner Revealed!

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception.

Because it's going to be awesome!!! Lots of amazing games releasing this fall, but having to chose one, this one is the obvious choice without much thought really for me.
I'm quite confident Naughty Dog will once more deliver the goods!
 
I'm very much GAF-Mainstream in that I'm also anticipating:

Uncharted 3, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Batman: Arkham City, Skyrim, Team Ico Collection, Battlefield 3 & Dark Souls
Not so much Zelda.

Based on the beta and their latest game I know that Uncharted 3 will be a full package that will be very polished. Therefore that one is most anticipated by me.

I of course hope that other games will be equally captivating.

That people with a Wii really do only have one game to look forward to every year. You know, I'm glad Skyward Sword won then; you guys need something to be happy about.
 
Congrats to Zelda, hopefully it deserves it.
As for UC3 fans they still have all the GOTY awards to look forward to. No doubt it will sweep them all.

wii owners still have Xenoblade, Kirby and Rythem Heaven to look forward to. Plus Rayman but that would be better bought on an HD console or the 3DS is you prefare portables.

That is a game I put myself on total media blackout for. Only snips I know of are what apear in thread titles, so I don't know how everyone feels about it. Can't wait for it, though.

I do so love to see Nintendo fanboys sad though, so I admit this poll was a loss for the thing I care most about. Hopefully GOTY will rectify this, but I doubt it; what the hell else are Wii owners going to vote for?

Yeah, you sound salty bro. Also, if you think GOTY awards will mostly go to UC3 instead of being split by tons of amazing games on that list, you've got another thing coming.

And why do you act like people who voted for Zelda ONLY have Wii's? I'm sure most of us have multiple if not all current generation consoles.

I understand SS winning this contest. TP is the last main Zelda game. And that's a 2006 release. People are anticipating a new main Zelda for years.

Even after disliking TP, SS is still my second most wanted game this year. It looks amazing.

Yeah but with so many great games coming out (particularly on the PS3), it's no surprise to see some lesser hyped ones get overlooked since you can only vote for one game. Just be happy it got that much. Other good looking games couldn't even get that.

Dude, they already had meltdowns when Sony won best E3 conference and Skyward Sword didn't get nominated for GotS by the critics. How many times do you need? Everyone deserves to celebrate every now and then.
 
And there's already plenty of action game, the easy way this gen more than ever with fps, so that's a good thing.

I have a Wii, and I'm not even looking forward to Skyward Sword! I got Twilight Princess on launch day and it did nothing for me...
apart from that bittersweet ending, which was handled really well.
 
Glad Deus Ex made it into the top ten. But still disapointed at just how few votes there are for it, especially sinced the game is a bit more than a month away.

The response to the beta was actually really positive, they addressed nearly every complaint people had with Gears 2 multiplayer. I think part of the problem lies in the fact that the game was announced over two years ago and people just want it to come out already. I also noticed it was being mentioned as a second or third option in this thread.

One thing I'm happy to see is that we have a really nice variety of genre's for the top ten games. Shows that shooters aren't the only thing in town.
