PAULINK

I microwave steaks.
I agree with everyone else, stranger in moscow is what got me to listening to more of his music.

MJ is better with his family than as a solo artist yet more people know him just by himself. So in that regard, all the Jackson 5/Jacksons work is underrated.

It came out officially for the 25th Anniversary of Bad.
Of course it did, I meant as a full song, not a demo: a remake, a reimagining, I don't know how the Xscape songs are called lol

Hmmm, I would be curious about hearing a Timbaland produced version. He absolutely killed it with the new version of Blue Gangsta.

The songs that I absolutely love that I don't hear many people talk about are:

Wanna Be Starting Something
They Don't Care About Us
Scream

For Scream, I'll never forget Janet's tribute dance to MJ: https://youtu.be/5SIYwi-XTeI (starting at 1:14). That was probably the most I've heard the song outside my own listening.

i would have said Stranger in Moscow. the most criminally underrated MJ song IMO. Break of Dawn at a faster tempo is very good too.

michael's unreleased ballads are some of my favorites.

Someone Put Your Hand Out: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x3ohbr_someone-put-your-hand-out_music
Beautiful Girl: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9uEmxb7bbk8

I have a soft spot for Scared of the Moon. Love the way he sings this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gnOtr3akiI

and Got The Hots from the thriller era is crazy. i still don't even know what time signature it's in: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z68-oboelcI

It is hard for me to say, I like a lot of his stuff, maybe I'd choose something like Threatened.

And I'm not even considering some songs from The Jacksons like Can You Feel It, Blame It On The Boogie, State of Shock and so on. But I have no idea how popular The Jacksons' songs were. :p

Is Man In The Mirror underrated? I love the song but don't see it mentioned very often.

Others:
Scream
Stranger In Moscow
Blood on the Dance Floor
Dangerous
Human Nature

How about Fall Again? Written by Robin Thicke sounds like a surefire late 90's/Early 2000's hit. It was released by a nobody Glenn Lewis (and possible nobody Robin Thicke himself later), but Michael's version is superior.

Just showing some love for Xscape (the whole album pretty much).

I've listened to it non stop. My favorites are Love Never Felt So Good (Timberlake version), Do You Know Where Your Children Are (I get the irony), A Place With No Name, Slave to the Rhythm, and Blue Gangsta.

Yeah..Pretty much the whole album really stands out to me as new all time MJ faves. Crazy to think what they could have been if he kept working at them considering how good they already are.

The crazy thing about PYT is that while, obviously, there were multiple versions (including that demo that is basically an entirely different song), I pretty much believe that James Ingram wrote the version that ended up on Thriller as a Commodore's style song. When I listen to him sing it briefly (from this Tavis Smiley clip), the way he's singing it makes it sound like something Michael would have performed with his brothers on backing vocals, like a classic Motown group.

I love PYT, but, man, it would have been great to hear a version like that.
