Man, that Hori Mushi stick is sweet looking. But I think I'd be better off buying a '360 TE stick instead, maybe I'll get the MvC2 version.

Joystick only.

If you wanted to optimize it, swapping out for Sanwa buttons might be a good idea. But the stick is the most important part for your coming trials in Ultra mode.

If you can cough up the cash, get it anyway! It quite possibly will become rare, and you'll easily get near what you spent back on your regular edition on ebay.

Still waiting here. Paid in full at NCSX well over a month ago for the LE.

Though i made the order at the old pre-order site (shopncsx), hopefully that doesn't cause any issues. Did get a little scare though when i logged into the main site and no order history was listed, but the site (shopncsx) does indeed have it listed their but just as "Payment Recieved".

I don't necessarily care when i will get the game, especially since i'm an international buyer, i just want confirmation that it will be sent lol.



EDIT: Actually thinking about ordering the SE now at P-A. If i do get the LE shipped by NCSX, might just keep it sealed. Do you guys reckon they'd still ship out the DLC cards at P-A?

damn. i read the impressions and saw actual pics of the Futari stick. it literally looks 100x better in real pics than it did in the original mock ups. sexy as hell. and it has a Seimitsu stick. i really want one now.

Pretty awesome. Nice that it comes with the arcade joystick as stock ($20 saved!). Personally, I'm adding black sanwa buttons for a change from my deathsmiles stick. As bastard as it looked months ago, it seems as a fabulous stick today, one for the collector.

After DDPDOJ fiasco Cave took all of its products from 5pb. They are still deciding on Ketsui port to X360, hopefully good sales of Mushi will convince them to do so.

Some of those achievement translations are a little off. There is for instance, no second loop in the game. That achievement is for beating stage 2 in Arrange. Also, ambers= amber gems in case that's confusing.

The DLC card lets you download version 1.01, which is a slightly altered version of the original arcade mode that has been replaced by 1.50 in the 360 version - can't remember exactly how to use the DLC card, but there should be a redeem card/voucher option somewhere in the menu system, although you will need to use a Japanese account to redeem the DLC I think (can anyone confirm?)

The novice mode is super easy, I beat it only dying once on the final boss. I'm sure if I tried again I could beat it without dying.

Ultra mode is absolute insanity! I think so far I am gravitating towards Maniac mode. Original is cool but the scoring mode in Maniac seems cooler.

Totally amazing game, especially with street fighter TE stick. I've never sat so close to my plasma.

Just got to echo this sentiment.

Put about four hours into the game today, it's just so goddamn brilliant. I played the shit out of Mushi Futari Black Label in the arcades, but 1.5 is actually quite new to me, so it's like discovering the game again. Maniac in particular feels very very different.

I was planning to play more MW2 and Bayonetta this weekend, but Futari is taking all my time up.

I managed to get the achievement for clearing stage 1 in Ultra tonight. That may sound like it should be easy, but uh...wow, just getting past stage 1 without continuing will require strategy and practice.

For those discovering CAVE via Futari right now, know that there is a whole "lost generation" of CAVE games like this one that never made it to the west. You can check out some of them in this thread once you need a break from gdlk Futari.
