I haven't been able to catch up with all of your replies. I am getting ready to head back to the hospital. I called her earlier. No results yet from the latest CT, but she is allowed to eat soft foods and has been taken off her catheter. I think the pain of the whole thing is only now starting to hit her.

That's good news to see her with the iPhone in the ICU and to hear they took the catheter out.

When I was grievously injured in a silly accident my iPhone and podcasts were seriously the only thing that kept my mind of the pain and severity of the situation (well and of course my wonderful wife who was then my GF. ) Some jerk MD did say he thought I shouldn't be in the ICU because I was well enough to play on an iPhone. Wow, that's a REALLY good sign. She's kicking this incident's ass.

The two of you are incredibly cute together (my wife made me write that, I swear) and you've proven your devotion, so it would be better to get this behind you so you can go off, get married, make Crunchlings and have a great life.
