Looks horrible

not like this GIF

Where does it state those screenshots and trailer arent cgi? Because it IS. There is a very small 5 second clip of the actual graphics and gameplay.

The rest is just a cinematic.

How blind are you guys?

It's gameplay + cinematics. All in-game/in-engine, just from different camera views for editing purpose. You really think this level of graphics is unachievable for PS5/XSX/PC?

Just because its a cinematic doesnt mean its CG. It could very well be realtime.

Its EA. How long have you been in the gaming scene? Every big publisher touches up their footage in more ways than one.

CGI quality, Pixar like
You are learning.
The trailer is 100% NOT CGI, just fancy camera work and transitional effects.
When you can fool people into thinking realtime cinematics are CGi then you've done something right.

Yeah, sure, sure.
Believe what you want.

Game is 2 months away. Id be very surprised if it gets downgraded this close to launch.

Oh and its Targeting 4k 60 fps. It can actually look much better if they reduce the resolution.

Looks interesting, nice to see a single player campaign. It looks a little OTT, which is the way I prefer racers anyway.

It's Frostbite, one of the most impressive game engines. I guess some people have not seen pre-release videos of Battlefront and Battlefront 2. Was that a CGI?

Oh, and NFS Unbound is next-gen only, so what is the reason to believe it's not gonna look like that?

Last three NFS game trailers, NOT CGI. This shouldn't even be a conversation really. If you've played enough games, especially on PC where you have graphics options and you learn what each one does, you can see a lot of the types of effects/methods being used in the game.

lol i dont get some of you. We get numerous great looking games where some of you lose your shit that they are cross gen, then we get a game like this that at least to me looks very much cross gen, and now you're arguing over whether its cgi and worried about it getting downgraded.

Effects will be distracting af during gameplay

It occupies way too much space from the screen

Gameplay graphics are good, not sold on the whole drawings aesthetic tho

Just fucking remake Underground 2, EA ...

EverydayBeast

thinks Halo Infinite is a new graphical benchmark
Gran Turismo to me is more relatable need 4 speed always felt like bullshit those poor cars are brutal.

Not bad, the cartoon style might actually work out for NFS.

Agreed.

I love the exaggerated smoke effects. Looks like they are aiming for the whole street takeover race culture. I love it!

Even funnier is turns out that "insider" that as saying this game was having development trouble and delayed, the shit is revealed and coming this fall lol So much for "insiderz"

Really liked Heat but this series is so inconsistent and seems to have no middle ground for me since I either seem to like them or hate them and never seem to just find them average or decent enough so I will remain cautiously optimistic. I do agree that I am worried the effects could be distracting but time will tell.

Animated characters with trying to be realistic cars makes no sense at all.

After all this time, we don't even get real gameplay in a trailer? This isn't a good sign.
