That sucks. They might merge you in with us later cos we still have open spots. I think they put everyone separate at first.

There needs to more separation between some of the ranks, $310 for 2nd seems a tad much. I mean the winner needs to have much more than $100 separation a.k.a they won the league and should be compensated much more than the 2nd place guy. I posted it in the Yahoo thread...
Did we even decide if there will be prizes outside of the playoff stuff? Like Highest Scoring/Most Medals won/Most weeks with the largest blowout? I had made a chart trying to factor that in also...

ALBANY, N.Y. -- The Big Blue Crew started their 4th year of play in the NeoGAF Fantasy Football League trying to rebound from a disappointing year, missing the playoffs and finishing 5-8 (worst in team history).
With new ownership and a new focus, they're be sporting a new name also.
At MetLife stadium today the new group presiding over the team announced the new team name for The Big Blue Crew, which will now be called "I'm Doin' It Like Eli". The name change is an homage to Giants current QB Eli Manning, who proved to critics his elite status with 15 4th quarter TDs, countless comebacks, and leading the Giants to a 2nd Superbowl while winning the MVP.
"Eli Manning is a elite QB," Giants PR chief Pat Hanlon exclaimed. "He's one of the most competitive guys you'll ever see out there, and that's the nature we want to bring to this Fantasy Football season. Go out there, take no prisoners, and win games in clutch fashion".
The group also announced that while it will retain Coach/GM The Frankman to run the team, they will advise him on day-to-day operations such as pickups, and stress to better focus on drafting and less on trades. In past years The Frankman has been known as being a maverick and going against conventional wisdom in past years, often taking a QB in the 1st round and kickers/Defense as early as the 9th. Last year he drafted Michael Vick in the 1st round, a move he said he never actually wanted to do...
"We're not trying to take away his abilities," John Mara said. "We know he has a sound football mind and a keen eye for talent. We just want him to focus more on certain areas of running a team more and to explore his options fully. We know he likes to make alot of deals; we would like to prep his team a bit better so he feels he doesn't need to."
The advice of new ownership was apparent, as Coach/GM was not on hand at the press conference due to participating in his 10th Mock NFL Draft. It's been heard in some circles The Frankman is looking to do 50 Mocks before the No Quitters 4 Fantasy Football Draft begins September 2nd, a marked changed considering he would run maybe 3-4 mock drafts to prepare in previous years.

You're "diluting" the sense of winning the big prize though. If 2nd place was so attractive they'd call it 1a place. They're only 1 winner, and the 2nd place shouldn't be paid near 1st place. You think the Superbowl losers get paid as much as the winner? Fuck Socalism, this is a democracy.
I'd like this to be voted on by the league.

I like anywhere from 1-12, and I trust my plan this year. Unlike previous years I've been mocking heavy and I have an idea of what players I want + 2.5 different draft plans.

Just pick a different team for that approach this season instead of the terrible Chargers.Ugh. Matthews injury ruins my Chargers combo draft strategy. QB/RB/K from same team is what I like to do
I recommend Cleveland.

I've done 4 mocks today, I'm doing 1-2 mocks a day from here on out to get the Mock Draft Machine Yahoo! League Of Champions Medal, which you get for participating in 50 Yahoo Mock Drafts.
Folks have started paying but the deadline is a week before the draft.
PS: Sinistar hasn't responded so we have an open spot for now
