These are actually extremely old posters. They sat in their tubes for more than a year. And then sat in frames for more time. Finally put them up on the wall. The canvas has been there for a while.
I actually have another on an opposite wall similar to the Big Daddy/Mario ones of Nathan Drake. Didn't feel like taking a picture of it though.

Some really interesting and great pick ups this month.
Seeing as it's been a bit flat for new releases here in the UK every retailer and etailer have had some sort of bonkers sale on one day or the other. So while nothing new or particularly special, mainly stuff I was on the fence about, I have so far picked up this little haul for peanuts.
Mass Effect 3: CE was at GameStop's UK website for £39.99 (was £24.99 for the PS3 version), Assassin's Creed: Revelations CE was on Amazon for £23.03 and whilst doing some grocery shopping in Tesco saw Batman: Arkham City Joker Steelbook for £18.
Still the real bargain, for what I was really looking at, was...
Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection Zavvi Limited Edition for £34.99 off their ebay outlet, coupled with a 10% off PayPal coupon came to £31.49.
They had the PS3 version at the same price but that sold out almost immediately. The art book is the same that came with the North American and the Japanese Collector's Edition. It's a lot better quality than the usual pack in art books and has found a home under my coffee table. It has even caught the eye of a few people who've come round, some not even interested in Metal Gear or gaming in general. A bit disappointed that the Steelbook is just 2 stickers on a plain Steelbook but seeing as my PS3 is in silicone heaven right now it will have to do.

My new Samsung PN64E8000 TV. 64 inches of pure god-damn-ness. For some reason it looks small next to the speakers but it really is quite massive. Moving up from a 42" Phillips LCD, the difference is night and day.

Those finally sold out? It only took 5 months. I've never seen such a special edition bomb as bad as this did.

With Ibara earlier, these PS1 games, and Akai Katana in a couple of weeks, it has been a good STG month for me. And I´m waiting for Diablo III CE to arrive from BestBuy, hopefully next week.

The original price was just too damn expensive. But there have been SEs that bombed even worse. The worst example I can think of is the Alone in the Dark SE.

They're not even comparable. The MGS SP had only 8k copies world wide. It took them almost 5 months to sell 8k copies that were priced the same as the NA SP.

Yeah, pretty much it will be my new mission tomorrow to find the Peanut Butter Banana and Strawberry Shortcake versions of these. My life depends on it.
Is this stuff as ridiculously expensive in the US as it is over here? Always wanted to try it once, but it costs 5,50 (~$7) apiece over here.
I only buy it on sale for 3$. Ive seen it at 5 or 6$ though.

From a seller in the eBay equivalent in Mexico, Mercado Libre. $500 pesos comes to around $35 US dollars. Got Ibara PS2 about three weeks ago from a different seller for $800 pesos or around $60 USD.
Got Hajime no Ippo, Golden Boy, and Sword of the Stranger from ACen. The rest from Amazon. Should be more than enough to keep me entertained for the rest of the year.
Golden Boy is amazing. I don't watch too much anime but I found that to be hilarious.
