About a year ago, a bunch of GAFers decided to get together and make a compilation of original, electronic music that we released in December called G.A.M.E. It was themed around games that inspire us, and was stickied on the forums for a good, long time (thanks mods!).

Since then, we've been working on a new compilation, appropriately called G.A.M.E. 2. This time, we opted for a different theme to hold the project together: "Theatrical Music". By this, we were going for music that would be more emotive, drawing mental images of various scenes from the listener. G.A.M.E. 2 has twenty original tracks, created by over a dozen GAFers.

The songs can be downloaded from the links below, as well as the artwork (once again provided by m0dus ^_^ with an inlet that FightyF put together).

It's in parts. I had to chop it up because the files would have exceeded zShares size limit. First three links are the music. The last one is the artwork.

If you would like to provide a proper download link and such, that would be great. I didn't want to pester you too much about that sort of stuff, so I figured just post it, and leave it open-ended from there as to whether or not you were up for it.

Yay! And I just got hooked on Audiosurf too, so...seriously, that's how you listen to GAF compilations. Can't wait to listen to this just as much as I did the last one.

I'm working on the GAME 3 thread (doing it up in notepad atm), it should be up soon. I hope to make it fairly comprehensive from the get-go, as we've already decided on a theme and the progress of GAME 3 will be accelerated big time.

I'll post the link here in this thread so that all interested participants can get in on it right away and start cracking.

Though I was busy with my final semester of Uni, in the free time I did have, I found this theme to be pretty challenging (I've done theatrical before [I did a soundtrack for a movie Sonki made long ago] but getting inspired is sometimes hard). So props to all those who managed to get a track out! It takes a lot to get out of your musical comfort zone and try something completely different.

Seriously awesome cover, by the way. Amongst all the reasons I'm looking forward to number three, one of them is simply to see what you're going to pull together for the art.

your song is the SHIT. Seriously it hit all the right buttons for me. I've been playing it since you 1st uploaded it in the thread.

That bassline, the distortion, nice variation of frequencies, nice tempo, nice feeling.... To me, your song stands up with anything.

GREAT JOB. I want to hear more.
