Well, I suppose that's one option... As a matter of fact, with enough people perhaps a tent community wouldn't be so bad at first... it could end up being pretty cool actually.
The town already has a source of income. The gas station.
The only one for miles.
Right next to the freeway.
I would imagine it brings in a decent penny.
Here's the most information we have, and it's not just open for inspection all the time:Is there anyone who lives in the area who could run down and maybe take pictures, ask about the bidding, etc? I would, but I'm in Canada, so it would be a little distance to travel ;P
I'm not sure the weather would be good for that.Well, I suppose that's one option... As a matter of fact, with enough people perhaps a tent community wouldn't be so bad at first... it could end up being pretty cool actually.
Forget the gas station, we'll form a game development company
You should scout it out for us!The idea of a GAF town 23 miles away from me scares me. I don't know guys it seems like unless you came up with a clear plan it would be doomed, assuming you raise the money. The legal angle between the bidders would be the problem. Unless it was clearly written who owns what and how the money will be used. If you guys succeed I'll have to visit your town.

In between Laramie and Cheyenne...the only people on that route have to be truckers.

-18 - +27 Celsius? That's nothing. I've camped out in -30 degree weather (regretted it though). -18(-1 Fahrenheit) wouldn't be so bad if we had access to the large house in case of emergencies.
and, at 8k elevation, we can build an amazing olympian running team.
Apparently very windy though, too.-18 - +27 Celsius? That's nothing. I've camped out in -30 degree weather (regretted it though). -18(-1 Fahrenheit) wouldn't be so bad if we had access to the large house in case of emergencies.

You're just mad because we thought of it first!
You should scout it out for us!
Judging by the videos, they get a decent amount of tourist traffic too.
Lol not really there's a lot of land in Wyoming that is cheap and has a lot of potential. I would hope this would succeed but I don't know how serious everyone is.
This is too huge to entrust with anyone but Evilore in my opinion.
Winter absolutely sucks though and the highway does sometimes have to close. But that little place is awesome! Hah! I've actually been there!
Oh shit! Evilore buy it now!I'll throw in a benjamin.
Can we legalize prositution and weed?
Oh man, can you imagine Gaf Mod's patrolling the town like sherrifs?
Just don't be that guyI am pretty good at Simcity SNES, do I qualify for a job at the city council?

Never been to Buford, but I assume that it is part of the sagebrush wasteland.
Can I be the preacher? It can't be too hard to preach the Religion of GAF.
"Thou shalt not believe the words of Patcher, neither thou, nor thy wife, nor thy maid, nor thy manservant, not thy cattle, nor thy chocobo, nor all who are in thy house."
"Thou shalt Hype thyself to ridiculous levels during E3, for it is a Holy Feast to the Gods of Gaming."
I could totally do this.

Nope. It's right by the pictures I posted. C'mon fellow Greenie! Join us!
That's what people in Wyoming call people from Colorado. It's because of our license plates
I want to open a recreation center to help keep the disadvantaged youth of NeoGAF off the streets.
I've lived in both. Lived in Denver a couple different times and lived in the Big Horn Mtns in Wyoming. The stretch from outside of Buffalo, Wyoming to Cheyenne is comparable to a wasteland. Nothing but sagebrush and antelope. If it's anything like that, (and from the looks of Google maps it is), I'll have to pass.
