Thanks for the link, just bought it! It's a huuuge shame that the dpad is a POV hat on the PC, especially when the Saturn USB controller was perfect. I guess the difference is that this is specifically PS3 suited.Dr_Biscuit said:It's available here :

On PC, by default the D-pad is detected as point of view axis. It may causes problem to bind keys on some program (eg Kawaks). You have to maintain Start and Select when plugs in the controller to make the D-pad to be seen as standard X-Y axis.

I just bought it in spite of this. I really loved the NGPC stick.
As brought up in the KOF13 thread, recently these have been reiussued.

I know some of the posters were upset the first run sold out so quickly, so here's a second chance.
NCSX wants $80 for that thing? JEEZUS.
That does sound sketchy. Even the rip-off artists from Gamebaz only want $50, which is only $10 over the MSRP with current exchange rates.
addedI got mine from nin-nin last time around, they're selling it at 3900Y

Gamebaz aren't legit? I ordered something from them last year and received it without any problems. Removing the link as a precaution.
Uuuuugh, any US retailers have these?
NCSX is situated in NYC. They're definitely charging a premium though.
$80 is steep. i got mine for like €30 the first time.
at least you won't get ripped off on the quality like those fake saturn pads.
I'm pretty sure i bought from them in the past too. They're legit, I only ment that they jack prices up and hope suckers pay. They ask hunderds of dollars for hard-to-find games and shit. I'd fulle expect THEM to be asking $80 for that controller.Gamebaz aren't legit? I ordered something from them last year and received it without any problems. Removing the link as a precaution.

Yeah, I just checked my receipt and NCSX sold me mine for $39.90 when I bought it last year.
They're definitely price gouging this one.
Yeah, and they raised it to $49 the week of release when they realized there was more demand...(think Neo Geo station had just been announced.Yeah, I just checked my receipt and NCSX sold me mine for $39.90 when I bought it last year.

Thanks! Couldn't pass up buying another one for this cheap.
lol, damn
I'm seriously hoping Play-Asia gets some more in stock. :/
Bump,
I know these got a second run a bit ago. This is to inform that Play-asia is now listing them for about $35 delivered.

I grabbed a second one for the collection (along with the English Sub Okami). Hoping PA delivers...sucks not having tracking or anything.

Thanks for the heads up!
BTW, if you add Registered Airmail ($4.90) to your order, it should give you a tracking number once it ships. You could also add another $0.50 to your order if you would like to remove the Play-Asia logo off the packaging, if you think it would help move it along customs.
Yep. This thing is my favorite controller for (classic) 2D games. That microswitch stick is just so damn satisfying to use. It's my go-to control scheme for GBA, SNES, Genesis and NeoGeo emulator emulators.anyone using this on the PC?
wondering how Skullgirls would fare on it
I don't own that yet, but from some googling it looks like you can remap pads in Skullgirls, so it might be easy as long as it supports direct input pads. If it only supports Xinput, you can always use x360ce to map the Neo-Geo pad anyways.anyone using this on the PC?

I am so tempted
or would this suffice?

The buttons are also gdlk: they're feather-light to depress (similar to Sanwa buttons). Oh man, how i wish every pad incorporated that kinda tech, but nope....that stick is just too gdlk.
