It's quasi-free, it is the full game in terms of features but it has cars/tracks missing. You'll have to upgrade it to the full version if you want the full disc package.

I love how the a.i behaves in this game. It looks very human like from the short clips that they've shown.
The overly ambitious behaviour of that Porsche and that yellow car losing it towards the end of the clip.

That actually looks wrong since it's inside the car. You can see the reflection or the exterior on everything inside.

The reflection from the headlights on the cars in front is really quite something. Very impressive.

That's probably why some people think the cockpit looks dark? I don't know, looks fine to me, it's so bright outside.
Hmmmm, how about an advertising blitz that shows of this incredible footage which states it's an PS4 exclusive and PS+ members get a version of the game. But if your fine with your approach only...ok.

That is just a standrad direct specular reflection. All the other reflections shown are much more impressive (the car overtaking especially).

Somewhere in the back of my head I feel that this can't look and sound this good and still run smooth and play well - that would just be too much to handle. I still believe though.
Cockpit should look dark, then, when the suns behind you, it will lighten up.
Next-gen lighting is going to be one of the biggest differences with all these new games.
could Next Gen see 1 of the biggest improvements between console gens do to GPGPUs?
I tried to warn people but no one believed.
How do you get close to CGI ( Computer-generated imagery ) level graphics in a game? by generating most of it with Compute.

Yes we do. We have NFS and Forza Horizon. Thats not some kind of saturation point.
Forza is also the only open world racer with cockpit views and manual transmission since Test Drive Unlimited.
We need more open world driving games, and yeah, I won't hide that its my dream version of Drive Club.
You can close off ribbons in an open world game. You can't do the opposite and make a full free roaming world out of a track based game.
All that said I'll gladly take the game we're getting here. Looks phenomenal.

We agreed to wait until we had a new build of the game to show you, with everything optimised. We're looking to capture it soon but of course we're extremely busy right now, so we can't promise any dates just yet.
