Snake's hair looks bad from certain angles and I still don't like the traditional MGS desaturation/color bias/filtering, but this game makes it a little too colorless, at least from these scans. And why is Snake gonna shoot that guy in tha ass?
Otherwise, looks as good as always...perhaps, a bit better in certain ways since these are apparently gameplay shots.

It's very close, IMO, but yeah...missing some of the uber detail of the cutscenes shown up until now.element said:

This game is just pure magic, PS3 got so much strenght in it's pocket that instead of playing Saint's Row I sit on boards like GAF just to get more news :lol .

Yeah, looks sweet, but its a bit dumb to start saying "all is forgiven" Sony are STILL charging $600 for their 'superconsole' and no matter how sweet MGS4 looks, its still extortion.
Other than MGS4 anyway, PS3 has ****-all to offer.
Methinks i'll wait for the inevitable xbox360 version..

There is a lot more work to be done with PS3, its price, its marketing and its launch titles - before we can all be screaming about forgiveness.

Well, they always have...though, there seems to be some subtle changes to the visuals, overall, since the E3 video. Because I know that scans tend to make some things look better and some things worse than they are, I'm willing to believe it's practically the same. But, from these shots, it looks, to me, like the overall detail on the characters is lessened. That may be because of the washed out condition of the scans or because the environments have different lighting. Something looks very different.SolidSnakex said:
