I think they may be the industry leader in Slot machine tech. I can't imagine any other firm with Konami's expertise or even sparing resources for such spectacle.

Do they use pre-renders or are some of these realtime? If realtime the scenes may be reactive to the current state of play.

Is there really a crossover audience between Metal Gear Solid and casino games?

I was in Japan when the game came out by coincidence checked out a Pachinko place like 10 minutes after the debuted the thing. They had a ton of machines all in use and no one looked like they were going anywhere in the near future.

It looked like they covered a decent amount of stuff with the cut scenes with the little I saw. Honestly I thought it was pretty cool, the issue isn't Pachinko existing it's that they've basically killed all thier franchises off otherwise.
