This rumor has taken on a life of its own.
T234 is the Orin chip with 2048 shaders and 12 core arm CPU.
T239 is the alleged Nintendo chip derived from the Orin chip. There is nothing about the specs of the Nintendo chip in this rumor, only really the base architecture.
I would bet given the Nintendo volumes for switch, it won’t be the same exact off the shelf chip like the X1 was in the original .
Cut Orin down to ~384 shaders and a quad core CPU and that’s a good ballpark for the next switch.
