God damn it, why put redone music in the trailer if the music in the game is still the same! STOP TEASING!

HHHHHHHHHHNNNNG.

I'm talking actual added content that was planned for Ura Zelda, not dungeon re-arrangements.

Well that would be pretty much unprecedented for a company to go back and work on unfinished parts of an unreleased game like that. Do you have any links to articles of 64DD Zelda stuff? I just remember reading some stuff in gaming mags back then. Were there extra dungeons being worked on/planned?

This might play after the title sequence, when you don't press start. Isn't that how it is in Twilight Princess and most other games now-a-days? I missed the days of demo modes.

Well the Ice Cavern was supposedly going to be the "Ice Temple" and there was code for at least one more temple.

What a lot of people fail to understand is that scrapped content was put into later games, especially in Majora's Mask (such as the time-based system, which was scaled back to 3 days rather than 7). Majora's Mask itself was upgraded from the original OoT expansion*.

Yes Ura Zelda and Zelda Gaiden are technically different projects but Majora's Mask revived OoT concepts.

Can't get over how shitty the animation is.

The logo at the end of the trailer was pretty cool though. That was some Street Fighter shit.

Wish there was more of an improvement.. they should have treated the re-make of a classic with a higher budget.
I'd prefer Nintendo spending all the resources on a new Cafe Zelda instead of wasting them on an HD remake. A small team like Grezzo couldn't have handled a higher budget remake anyway.

Nostalgia overloaddddddddddddddd!
THIS.

Oh Nintendo, you did it again. I wasn't planned to buy a 3DS, not even for OoT, and they attacked my nostalgia directly with that music.
Q_Q Dat Trailer.

Yep. For instance, they planned to make the mask trading thing a bigger deal in Ocarina, and then it became like the main feature of Majora's Mask.

Is this 100% confirmed they aren't redoing the music?

IIRC for Mario Galaxy 2, the orchestrated music was one of the last things Nintendo finished before the game got released.

So maybe Nintendo did the same thing and waited to do new music for OoT 3DS. But it's probably better not to get my hopes up, and just assume the music is unchanged from the N64 version.

IGN already have their review copy, if the music was redone they would have said something.

I hope the E3 2011 Trailer will be just like that.

...

With less spoilers.

Yea. They pretty much showed the entire game. I guess they intend the game for gamers that already played the game. I mean it has been released like 4 times already

Or Nintendo could have just realized that no one gives a shit about the story.

Sorry guys. I'm just not feeling it. It's hard to get excited for a game that I've already finished half a dozen times over the years.

Looks really nice. I'm a huge fan of Twilight Princess, it's my favorite Zelda ever, and this new 3D version of Ocarina of Time probably won't change that, but, I'm really excited about this release. It was the framerate that was my biggest problem with the 1998 original, so the 30fps framerate of this 3D version has me sold, as does the 3D.

Not to mention orchestrated music just wouldn't fit the game in many places, such as Gerudo Valley or the ranch.

Yes, because everyone complained about new music would ruin the nostalgia. As far as I know from hands-on things, this is still the case.

Does anyone have any idea how they are dealing with the Stone of Agony?
Its now the Shard of Agony
Instead of giving clues in the form of a rumble, clues will now be given in an audio and visual sense. Whenever Link comes near an area with a secret, a pinging sound will play, and a small icon of the shard will flash at the upper-left part of the screen.
