That's what I though as well. The exposed Endo looks like a mask over his face rather than something that's being revealed underneath.

I love terminator 1 and 2. I watched Terminator 3 and Salvation not as terminator moves but as typical sci-fi action flicks. I enjoyed those two, simply because I lowered my expectations a lot compared to what I had for Terminator 1 and 2. Genesis though...I don't know. I just feel nothing good from this movie. I'm a huge Terminator fan and have always said "GIVE ME MORE TERMINATOR!" in the past, but not this time. I really hope a good movie is hiding behind all of this lackluster and sometimes down right hilariously bad promotional material.
