it was a great show

Wow those renders all look pretty good.

The only one I'm not so sure about is Splinter. I hope he's shorter than the render seems to imply.

I'm still impressed about how much BETTER are the toys compared to the CG design.

And they are PRATICALY THE SAME !

Also, Badger Badger Splinter =P

The name of the show is teenage mutant ninja turtles. Of course it's going to look like shit. They just randomly chose four words out of a hat and made a show out of it.

I see they're using the same "characters look like they're carved from wood" design philosophy from The Clone Wars series.

Only one I don't like is April. Not a fan of the idea she is a teenager or her design at all.

I think Shredder looks pretty cool, I doubt he is that short though since his Action Figure Prototype is same size or a big bigger than the Turtles

Really excited for the show. I think they look great.

MEANWHILE...

CHRISTMAS DAY 2013 = Live Action TMNT film in theaters. Day. One. Dudes.

There's something that looks so off about the way their shell connect to the side of their bodies, like it's removable.

Nice little detail about about Raff's design though is that parts of his shell are cracked.

Eyes for turtles = bad idea to begin with.

You clearly have no idea with its origin, haven't you?

Something about the way April's arms are folded behind her back weirds me out.

Overall those renders look like a load of old tosh. "Style" isn't an excuse to not know how to make interestingly rendered 3D models. Krang - sorry, THE KRAANG - is the only one there that looks decent, the rest are a bunch of ugly angles, nasty colours and default 3D Studio MAX shaders.

If they're going to replace the already established Ultroms as "The Kraang", then this piece of shit is too much pandering to the 80's that it's insulting.

So how did you guys actually feel about the 2003 TMNT series? I'm talking about the one before all that Fast Forward BS.

Personally I loved it, and that's coming from someone that grew up on the 80s cartoon. Hell, I still watch the original series. Even brought a DVD box set with me to college.

April looks sorta weird, I've got to see a clip how she acts first before I can make judgement

Man, nick likes to ruin stuff. First is Samurai Power Rangers and now this.

Superior to the 80's show.

And hell, even Return to the Sewer and Fast Forward are superior to "jump the shark" seasons of 80's TMNT.

I think they're playing him as a singular character. The comics already referred to a "General Kraang". The original Krang is a disembodied warlord from Dimension X that happens to look like an Utrom.

It's like a reboot that's also a new version.

Also, Krang > Utroms. :p
