I think it's because of the trophies, i think if a game has different trophies it's classed as a seperate game.

Mine was a rollercoaster of brands:

Odissey 2 -> Master System -> Mega Drive -> SNES -> N64 -> DC-> GC -> PS2 -> 360 -> PS3 -> PS4 -> Switch -> PS5(already pre-ordered).

As it can be seen, never had much allegiance to any brand, I went where the games appealed to me.

Why are MS releasing 2 consoles then?

Xbox is a platform. You've got consoles (XSS/XSX), PC, and mobile. On all 3 of these you can get Game Pass, which includes xCloud. That's what they are selling. They said 100x we don't care where you game, as long as you play our games or use our subscription service. That's what they are selling. Selling consoles is just one possible device you can play their games on, but it's not what makes Xbox successful.

But why though?

Because a business doesn't have to go in to the smallest detail of each aspect of a product on how much it sells for. Why should Microsoft disclose this? For who?

Personally, I think SEGA would be devastating in an overall sense. You don't just get SEGA, you get Atlus and their publishing arm. You potentially get to rip PS-associated franchise's like Yakuza and Persona away, and there's some similar franchise's that are currently Nintendo-associated, who's name escapes me right now.

It's will be very hard, almost impossible for MS to buy Sega, Capcom, Kadokawa or similar companies.
Many think here, based on Zenimax, that MS can just go and write check and have a company for itself.
It works for private company, but Sega and Capcom are public companies, moreover they have no controlling shareholder (with free float of 60+%), and to buy them MS would have to do a public offer, which can be rejected (or overbid or blocked).
And Japan companies usually not very fond of letting foreigners to buy them, they often have control schemes to block it.

Starfield has a potential to be next Mass Effect 1-3 type space opera game but with the freedom of Skyrim. Sony needs to have an answer for that whenever that game launches.

serious question; Why Sony didnt show how bc games will run on ps5? Why Sony didn’t show official loading speed demos(I am ignoring that out of context leak, which seems was from the remaster version of the game)? No UI, no tear down, I would like to see loudness test as well.
