So in an effort to fix their QB problems, the Colts are trying out both Dan Orlovsky and Brodie Croyle.

If that isn't confirmation that the Colts are purposely trying to tank the season, I don't know what is.

Even being a Colts fan (actually, pissed because I don't have cable) I feel sorry for everyone that we've got a number of prime time games. Unless things change, they'll be flexing as many as they can when November rolls around.

This lions game is going to suck. Its bad enough the lions are always a pain to play against but now they actually know what they are doing. Only bright side of this is after the game we have a bye week.

It will be a great game. I am very worried about Mr.Ware.

I love it! Cry more Hall you salty bitch
People when they watch on TV will say D, he got beat on the play, but you guys had zero help.

They can say whatever the [expletive] they want to say. I could care less.

I think he means he couldn't care less. Because if he could care less, then he'd be bothered by the fact that I say Hall is like Darrelle Revis(notes), only DeAngelo lets people stay on his island 60 minutes a week, rent-free.

Can you just talk about when he scrambles, how hard it is to stay with Dez as long as you had to.

You ain't supposed to have to. You ain't supposed to have to. But, I mean, [expletive] happens.

[Blitzing seven] worked for you guys a lot earlier in the game.

Yeah, but sooner or later somebody's gonna [expletive] figure it out. You don't have to be a [expletive] rocket scientist to figure it out after a while

Is that a dig at Jason Garrett, Jim Haslett or rocket scientists?

The facemask was just a bad break, grabbing at --

It was a [expletive] terrible call. I told the ref he should [expletive] lose his job. [To another reporter] Man, back up off me, man. [Back to the question] Like I said, I told the ref after that call, that might have been the worst call of the game. He gonna get some demerit points for that call, because that wasn't no facemask.

I went to my first NFL game on Sunday at Soldier Field. It seemed like the majority of the Bears fans came just to root against them. I don't like the Bears sucking either, but is it really necessary to boo them incessantly and make dumbass remarks as early as the 2nd quarter?

Are the majority of fans at all NFL stadiums assholes, or is it just reserved for Chicago?

Glad to see everyone picking the Texans. We seem to play better with low expectations :D

Right. I wonder which Steeler team will show up. The one that got creamed by Balt and looked like sheeeite vs the Colts, or the team that bounced back from that Raven loss and shutdown Seattle.

Personally, Tomlin has his work cut out for him this week. Matt Schaub ain't no Kerry Collins.... And there ain't nobody that is as bad as Curtis Painter.

Personal experience: Chicago fans suck. Cincinnati fans are worse. Philly fans are some of the worst humans on earth.

The 49'ers fans at Candlestick when I witnessed the Fumble were stunningly awesome. I remember it so vividly because to that point I'd only seen the Packers play at Chicago and Minnesota, so not having to prepare myself for a fight every ten minutes was really unexpected.

Pats shouldn't be as high as 3, they have a great offense but that defense is just bad. And the Bills definitely shouldn't be at 6 too, they're a fluke.

I went to the Eagles Redskins game last year. The one in Philly when McNabb came back for the first time.

Saw a bunch of Redskins fans in McNabb jerseys. No one bothered them. I am sure things were said but nothing done to them.

I hate this thread. I hate that picture. I hate the Suck-For-Luck sweepstakes. I hate Donovan McNabb. I hate our idiot second half play calling. I hate that I live in a sports wasteland. I hate that our college coach has more on field seizures than he has career B1G conference victories. I hate Wisconsin. And I hate eznark's response to this post.

Packers fans are the worst here in GAF. But I have been to LF about 4 times, they are by far the best fans.

You have not seen a football game, unless you have been to LF and watch GB.

As a detroit fan. I Love that picture, I love McNabb , I loved your 2nd half play calling. make sure you keep that this week in college level against michigan.

BTW, Vikes are not that bad. They will win there share of games.

I have had my season tickets since 1995 and nothing bad ever happens at Eagles games. It is funny seeing fucking racists talk about people in other cities being bad people. I have also seen games in SF and Oakland, and those fans were the exact same. We got a little bit of ribbing for wearing Eagles stuff, but they were totally cool.

It's called being a fan, man up.

Ravens playing in a nationally televised game means I might actually get a chance to watch. I must be the biggest football fan who gets to watch no football at all. But at least it's a good opportunity to train my children in the ways of the Ravens fans. My four year old already knows that she hates the yellow team. Now if I can just get her to start hating the Niners too, I'll have done my job.
You taught her well

Did you just call for another Jerry Kill seizure? You monster.

eznark: Go deep fry something.

Bills fans are great (if a bit drunken), love their team, and aren't douchey to the opposing fans.

Granted I haven't been to a game in years, but still...

You'll always have the 1930's Gopher teams, slo. No one can take that away from you.

Didn't see the game but I know they were up 20-0. What were the play calls? I also saw that AP had only 5 carries in the 2nd half.

That SNF game is definitely the "no shades of gray" game. You're either a fan of either the NYJ or the Ravens... or you absolutely loathe them both. As a Steeler fan I'll be rooting for... key injuries? A tie?

I sure hope it's another entertaining clusterfuck on Sunday night.

Lions made adjustment and stacked the box. It was damn if you do and damn if you dont for vikes.

If the eagles would have bud headed with that box , then fans would have called for playing too conservative. They were aggressive and lions just beat them to it.

It was not like the Buffalo game where the PATS helped in giving that game away. There was no ball bouncing of someone helmet to a pick 6, or turnovers or special team stuff. It was straight up Detroit played better football................

And Calvin Johnson. ;P

Right. This is pure Suck for Luck strategy. The fact that no one has picked up Garrard is evidence that he could actually win some games, and some of these teams DO NOT WANT TO WIN in 2011.

That last MNF was a snoozer, didn't realize you could win an NFL game by playing soccer.

Cowboys really shouldn't be ranked that high. They haven't proved much of anything. Their pass D is still suspect.

Raiders vs Pats should be interesting, Raiders on cloud 9 and Pats on redemption. Only way to win is to pound that ball against them and use the clock against the Pats. Too bad the Raiders are horrible against a spread.

Isn't it obvious that Big Mike had a concussion and the Eagles were covering for it (very shadily)? I hope the Eagles bench him for that bogus hand injury and let his brain heal a little bit.

Nice to see how the Eagles look after their players...

Meh he's right about the blitz call. Apparently Costa doesnt know the difference between offensive and defensive audibles.

they got Romo running scared and throwing across his body. It's easy to second guess, but I don't know, not a bad situation to be in on defense.

But are you discounting the possibility that an NFL defense would try to fake the QB's cadence?

Hall's facemask is consistently called and still would fall under pulling. All the new rule did was get rid of the 5 yard rule that would include any contact with the facemask. As long as the helmet moves during contact, they call it.

Sure a player could fake it I guess, but it doesn't look like that during the replay.

I went to the Fins/Bills game last year:

3 or 4 fights broke out
Many verbal altercations
A tampon was thrown at a group of Dolphins fans

You could be right, but I've had doctors think my fibula was broken in two places after an innitial XRay when it only had one break.

nope, but romo was making alot of adjustments w/ the play clock running down each time. I could see simulation working maybe once or twice but 5 times. I find the excuses kinda hard to swallow. I guess the jets did it week one too?

Romo and company "complained", since they won. Hall made excuses.

Jets game? At least that was on the road and makes more sense. Simply getting your own QB's cadence confused with the opposing side's audibles just seems unlikely. It's also more likely that Costa is an idiot though to be fair.

Common place stuff for a Bills game. My dad went to the game against the Raiders. He said a girl got up out of her seat and puked in the aisle. Then she stepped in it walking back to her seat. Then she climbed over to her seat from the row in back of her, stepping in her seat and putting puke on it. Then she sat down.

Then a fight broke out. It spilled into the walkway and the pugilists ended up rolling around in the puke while fighting.

We have a great fanbase here in Buffalo who love this team through thick and thin, but things definitely DO get sloppy at the stadium.

Thats Wisconsin medicine for you.

I could be wrong about Vick as well, maybe the Eagles have shitty Wisconsin educated doctors who can't tell the difference between a break and a blood vessel, but I am betting on them trying to cover their own asses for rushing him back from a concussion.
