Yes. And I don't share your confidence. If the game is close then the Bucs could definitely win it. Freeballin is clutch.
Matt Ryan has lost one game at home in his career, which we can blame Chris Houston for.

They have the 30th ranked run defense.

We have the #5 rushing attack in the league.

We're coming off the bye at home.

Mike Smith's teams never overlook opponents.

This ain't happening.

I agree with him. He should be way higher. I wonder if he got knocked down because he acts like such a fool on NFLN.

Deion is awesome on nfln, he's the main reason i watch gameday final. Are you sure aren't getting confused with Michael Irvin, because he's basically a clown.

I like Deion also, but he is super over the top and I think that bothers old school nfl guys, like the people that voted on this list. Irvin is just an idiot, I dont even think anyone pays attention to the nonsense that he mumbles.

bionic77 said:
Giant and Falcon fans, who would you trust more in an elimination pick?

I am leaning towards the Falcons but I think the Giants are a better team.

What say you?

I'm not as confident as my fellow Falcon fans just because we have a history of trouble with mobile QBs and our offense hasn't been consistent enough for me yet. Also alot of people tend to say to stay away from division games when doing survival picks.

I love Michael Irvin the analyst. He's fun as hell to watch. Who the hell takes half of what any analyst says seriously anyway?

Sunday we shock the world!

Browns D is going to keep us within a touchdown. It's up to McCoy and Hillis to not lose it for us.

I feel good about this one.

Problem is that by week 9 of a suicide pool there are never many good options left.

For me it is the Falcons at home against a feisty division rival or the Giants on the road in a tough environment.

I am going back and forth on this pick every half hour. Right now I am convincing myself that the Giants d-line is going give Hasslebald an early retirement...

Hasselbald is out I thought? I'd go Giants.

He isn't even playing... :O, so it's Charlie Whitehurst who might play his first and last game :O.

I never saw that play and still can't find it online. Any links?

BTW, thanks to Snrub for my new avatar! <3

No problem, just got my GIF program fired back up, should have some more here soon.

I can't find a vid of the injury, but it was later in the game. Gonzo was obviously running OOB and Pollard leaped on him, falling on top of him on the ground.

Looking like Gonzo is out a few weeks. Session may be out for an extended period, but he seems hopeful he'll be able to play sooner. Our rookie LB who filled in for Session, Conner, might be ready to play. Another week, another roster stretched thin.

The Seahawks are battered on the offensive line. Take that into account.

Seems like it is a sure thing that the Giants will win. My only concern is that Eli will get afraid of throwing it in the wind and also that Seattle might have another special teams miracle left in them...

I had the weirdest time tonight. One of the hottest girls in a group of friends was talking to me, and it was going great. Then I realize she is a huge sports nerd which has me mini-orgasming. Then I find out she is a huge Browns fan. Who the fuck is a Browns fan? Who is Brian Sipe? And how can Belicheat be a bad coach just cause the browns sucked when he had them?

Man, she was pretty nice but goddamn was I struggling to keep up. Just my smattering of knowledge of pre-90's football kept me afloat in her sea of Cleveland Browns opinions. Later (now), Im just sitting here reading the wiki article about the team cause I don't want to disappoint.

How could this happen?
Pass on her number please.

Banged up OL, Whitehurst first start, I think their DL is banged up as well. Grankly, I will be shocked if the Giants lose.

Madison Hedgecock ruled out already, Bear Pascoe will start at FB in his place. I have never been so happy about a starter being inactive. Thanks for the help Hedge, but you are ineffective now. That's the way the game moves!

I lived through and watched football pre-90s and even I don't want to remember it!

It was a strange and different world back then. In the 80s the Bungles and Browns were the dominant teams in the AFC North. The Steelers were pretty horrible for me to watch as a kid (though back then I was stupid enough to think that with a little more practice that guys like Bubby Brister and Mark Malone could be good!).

If you to get in that girl's pants just tell her that the two things you hate most in this world are Art Modell and John Elway. That pretty much sums up the Cleveland experience.

P.S. Don't speak to her of your undying love of Ben Roethlisberger. She won't get it.
Haha so true, the very thought of Modell or Elway makes my blood pressure rise.

Sure if it's a close game. I have a feeling it wont be based on the how the Bucs have played against quality teams this year.

But mostly because the Giants seem like a safer pick. Whitehurst making his first start against the giants line. Seahawks aren't that good to begin with (Sorry JaknCoke but it's true), and now they have to play one of the most physical teams in the NFL. Both games are on the road but the Giants game seems like more of a bad matchup.

Who knows though, maybe Whitehurst is the second coming of Kevin Kolb. It's the NFL and stranger things have happened.

Me too. I'm just hoping McCoy has a good first game in front of the home crowd.

I saw a lot of Pat Angerer last week. Was he subbing in for Brackett at times or was he playing strong side LB? Because I want Angerer out on the field more. Not only because I'm an Iowa fan, but also because dude's got skills.

Damnit Broncos. 4 losing seasons since I was born. You've lost 14 or 18 games.

He had a solid, if unspectacular game against the Texans, but showed a lot of promise against Redskins. He has Wheeler's starting spot, but with Session possibly being out, Wheeler may be back in.

NYJ @ DET Detroit's putting together a respectable team, but theyre not playoff caliber yet
MIA @ BAL This is a tough one, a game sure to be interesting to watch.
NE @ CLE Never again shall the words "gimme game" leave my lips, but New England has the upper hand here
SD @ HOU Another matchup which should be interesting. Gonna hop on the hargers recovery wagon, though
ARI @ MIN because please. Brad childress will go down as the biggest laughingstock of a head coach in the span of a single season
TB @ ATL Bucs will put up a fight but Michael Turner will run circles around that defense
NO @ CAR My faith is renewed. Now just don't screw this one up with another 4-pick special, k?
NYG @ SEA I still don't believe in Eli Manning, though
IND @ PHI Upset special! DeSean Jackson + Vick = match made in heaven
KC @ OAK Oakland's on a rampage with some impressive wins lately.
DAL @ GB Don't expect Cowboys' woes to end any time soon

PIT @ CIN Steelers are still the team to beat in the NFL, no matter what the W/L column reads

Surprise Brett Favre gets hurt and a fine follows. I thought it was clean...shrug.
New England Patriots defensive lineman Myron Pryor has been fined $7,500 for a fourth-quarter hit that opened a cut on the chin of Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Pryor was not penalized on the play, which resulted in Favre getting 10 stitches and leaving the game.

Pryor told the Boston Herald earlier this week that his helmet "slid up into Favre's chin" after he first hit the quarterback in the chest.

He added: "You don't mean to hurt somebody. And when it happened, I didn't think I hit him hard enough to make him [injured]. But maybe just from the impact going to the ground and from me laying on top of him, that's what made the chin messed up."

If the Lions can stop the run I think they have a good shot at winning.
The Jets will come out angry and if the Lions can score quick I think they can break their spirit.

I think the Jets'll prevail but think it has potential to be a shootout.

I have seen very little of the Lions but I'm loving this mindset!

JB: What do you think is their biggest weakness?

KJ: Their biggest weakness to me is, "Who are they?" Are you a passing team, or are you a running team? That's the biggest weakness. I think the offensive coordinator is the biggest weakness.

Keyshawn blasts Schotty

So the Broncos strategy to trade away all of their talent (Cutler, Marshall, Hillis, etc.) and get nothing in return was not a winning strategy?

This is just the curse of Jake the Snake. Denver turned their back on him when all he did was win. While he is well on his way to becoming the greatest handball player of all time the Broncos are well on their way to becoming one of the worst football teams of all time. Watch your back Carolina, you got company!

I love Keyshawn and he's the reason I became a Jets fan. He's still, to date, my favorite receiver.

That said, ain't nothing wrong with being honest. He said Kottite was a dumbass too.

Oh he also said this:

KJ on coaching said:
You see parity in teams, but what about in coaching? You have three or four really good coaches in this league. You've got three or four ok coaches, and the rest of them are bums.

Lions are 27th in the league against the run, I 100% believe the Jets will pound the ball right at them withe success and then make big plays down the field with play action. All this happens while the defense rest and has an easy day thanks to the offense shortening how many possessions the Lions offense will have.

If the Jets would have won last week against your Pack I would be labeling this a trap game but since they took a loss last week they will be awake for this game.

this protecting the QB bs is just getting more ridiculous by the week. Our LB, Manny Lawson was fined for this hit.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64eqXM-x75o

Lawson was fined $12,500 for "unnecessarily striking the opposing quarterback in the chest area with his helmet

WHAT THE FUCK DO THEY WANT HIM TO DO????

Lawson is 6'-6" if he would have kept his head straight up, he would be fined for helmet to helmet hit on the QB.

this is ridiculous...the Ref didn't even flag him for the hit.

That was a beautiful hit. I hope Manny gets resigned, he has been a beast this year.
