Take out both Penner and Hunter, Add Johnson and probably somebody like Kozun or Tofoli and it makes sense, yeah.

oh what people really underestimate is rick nash's defensive play....

But yes the move makes no sense which is why I wish I'd hear rumors that were at least interesting. Hawks don't need a scorer, they need depth. Two new cogs in the lineup would be enough for the hawks to be a solid team, besides what goes back to columbus, and what happened to chi's management saying the goal was to only take expiring contracts due to the CBA.

There are a good dozen teams or more that are covered closely enough where we'd hear about fights during practice. Maybe shit goes down in Columbus, but we don't know. Fact is that Montreal players too often seem to be at each other's throats.

He seems to be losing his mind live on-air. Yelled at his studio employees a moment ago and then using the TV/radio to repeatedly complain to a GM (and without a hint of humour) that he should return his text messages. It really seems like a case of SportsNet having no one else worthwhile to put on television.

Daniel Rahimi and Patrick White for Christian Ehrhoff.

Todd Bertuzzi, Bryan Allen, Alex Auld for Roberto Luongo and Lukas Krajicek.

and Samuelsson and Sturm for Booth is looking like it might fall in the same "what the fuck? you gave up that for that awesome player?" category.
