I would love a Heavenly Sword sequel with a softer more graceful art style. The game should feature wire-fu like Crouching Tiger or Hero fights. I want a game that feels like those films.
It's too bad DmC doesn't have the equivalent of a DahBomb or Gunbo(he hasn't played it, right?) that falls on the other side of the fence, because there are way too many people who just come into Ninja Theory threads and post the most useless and reductive criticisms about DmC's mediocrity.

No one really wants to get into the nitty gritty on the game but I have played the game at enough of a level where I have a solid grasp on the combat and its mechanics. I have nearly SSS ranked all DMD missions for Dante and Vergil plus SSS ranked DMD mode with almost 50 plus hours on the game. I have also studied the style point calculation system quite a bit plus experimented with the weapons. Anyone is welcome to discuss any mechanics in the game and I will always respond, whether it be in a general thread or the OT... on which I still post occasionally if there's activity.
I think this will be a next gen game, Ninja's Theory logo was present in the list of devs developing for PS4 at their press conference.
I like to think I articulated by feelings about DmC well but most people don't care about my opinions on it because apparently no one feels level design is important in an action game except me.
I always liked the nes version over the genesis/arcade version.Going out on a limb:
Metroid Other Other M?
I think their strong suit would be something slow paced and animation heavy. Minimal amount of concerned and story. Maybe survival horror? The only genre where 30fps might actually be preferred.

It's got gameplay.Strider is such a simple game, Ninja Theory could easily handle something like that. Don't get the outrage over the hypothetical.
It's got gameplay.
Which is too bad as they are quite talented.NT are lucky if they even live to see the end of next gen.
Ninja Theory could handle Strider, DmC2 or even Onimusha.
Cant understand all the Ninja Theory hate even trough they made good games like Heavenly Swords,Enslaved or DmC.
or you know opinions?
HS was a flawed as fuck game but I can see how someone would enjoy it. Can't speak for Enslaved.
But just because someone likes those games doesn't invalidate their opinions.
I don't think I ever said it does. It was just a general observation.
I don't think I ever said it does. It was just a general observation that most people I've met on these forums who like HS and Enslaved resort to the "haters gonna hate" argument when others talk badly about NT.
Uh, putting aside the people on either side who actually used well-thought out arguments, it seemed to me there were way more people here bashing DmC with bad posts than there were defending it with bad posts.
Also, NT could do Strider just fine, because, let's face it, Strider was never really even that good. It had nice big sprites, and a cool-looking ninja dude flipping around, but there really wasn't much to it.
My name's Ryu Hayabusa. But you can call me Ryu the Dragon Ninja.
Has a nice ring to it dontcha think?
The discussion about how bad or good NT isn't limited to this thread.
I personally doubt it. NT can barely keep 30fps on consoles and nothing in their games makes me confident that they could nail the level-design.

By here I meant NeoGAF at large. There were clearly more "haters" than "sheeple" for DmC.
PC version or bust.
And it's been a couple of years but I don't remember Strider having good level-design, I'm guessing the Strider game would be more of an Ducktales like HD update anyway.
