Good deal.

I'm really looking forward to tax season so I can afford a new game or two. I still haven't played Mario 3D Land yet :(

I asked about this earlier, but is anyone playing WWE Allstars on the 3DS? Is it any good as a port? Are the controls playable?

WWE All Stars 3DS is an amazing port. The only gripe I have is that Strike Reversals are mapped to Up on the D-Pad. Everything else is golden. Much nicer than the Wii & PSP ports.

If you like WWE All Stars you have to get this game.

I loved Allstars on PS3 and the portable version is a perfect fit in theory.

So its worth buying on 3DS, then? Been holding out on that for a while due to expecting a terrible port..

It'll probably drop in price because I can't imagine it sold well. Definitely piqued my interest as well!

Really debating on if I'm going to pick up Nano Assault.

I think I'll probably pass though. Next game for me is probably going to be Tales.

Wait, seriously?

I would love to have a good portable wrestling game. Is such a thing even possible?
Yes it is.

Believe me, I was surprised as you are. After looking at the PSP and Wii ports I was really nervous, but the 3DS port exceeded all my expectations.

Like I said, Up on the D-Pad for Strike reversals is kinda awful, but everything else is awesome. Hell, with all the DLC included on the cart and two exclusive game modes it's got even more value than the HD Twins.

And it doesn't take 5 minutes to install every time you start it like the PS3 version does. :O

Gah! Thank you for letting us know. I was a huge fan of Allstars on the 360, and I would love to have this on the go. I hear they've included all the DLC fighters too? D-pad reversal is a bit frightening though because it is such a huge part of the game- does it feel alright?! Thanks for the impressions!

Grapple Reversal is on the L Button so reversals aren't totally screwed, but hitting Up on the D-Pad for Strike Reversals does take some getting used to.

I'd say it is definitely worth picking up.

Would it be worth it if I didn't play Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor on the DS to try and track down the 3ds version?

On WWE All-Stars for 3DS, I've played it for a few hours and have only begun to scratch the surface of all of the modes. I'm currently trying to unlock more wrestlers via Gauntlet.

I only have two gripes with the game so far. First, there are graphical/gameplay glitches when performing reversals. It doesn't happen all the time but I've witnessed specific moves being reversed only to have the animation not match up with what's going on as well as no damage taken on your opponent. It doesn't happen with every reversal but from what I've seen, just specific ones (maybe it's dependent on who your opponent is as well?). Secondly, the loading times. Do yourself a favor and disable the wrestlers' entrances. After selecting your wrestler and your opponent, you'll select the ring... loading... ring entrance cinema plays... loading... your wrestler's entrance plays... loading... your opponent's entrance plays... loading... and finally the match begins. Now imagine if you have four wrestlers in the ring at once. :/

Yes, because it features an extra day, more voice acting and better resolution (I think don't quote me on that). But like most Atlus games it will become rare so don't wait especially if you come across a deal for it.

I'm not digging PES 2011 at all. It's very difficult to score a goal and the AI controlled players in your team are freaking stupid.

Anyone know what games are on sale at Best Buy for 3DS when you use Nintendo Zone? They made a tweet...would be awesome if I could get Ace Combat for half price...

XOC does amazing stuff with his arrangements—What's Pink and Sucks is a fantastic tribute to Kirby and, most importantly of all, Frank Zappa.

Also: Pilotwings Resort represent. I haven't the time for Mario Kart 7 and I'm done with SM3D, but Pilotwings never gets old.

Pilotwings is still one of my favorite titles on the 3DS if even just for the awesome depth that is present when 3D is on.

Just traditional skydiving, plz. PW 64 islands for regular missions, original islands for flight training, and a lot more content in general.

Monster Games should deliver the goods.

Where do I start? I love this system. LOVE. IT.

I take it with me everywhere pretty much and own two of them.
Favorite games so far:

Pac Man/Galaga Dimensions
Lock N Chase
Double Dragon
I like playing old DS games on it like wheel of fortune
Mario Kart 7
Super Mario 3D Land
Tetris Party
Burgertime Deluxe

There's something weird about virtual console - it's like playing those old gameboy games are so much better on the 3DS than on the old gameboy, and I overlooked many of them.

Edit: I've been trying to beat Find me but am stuck in a spot where it's dark and the heroes always turn back. I haven't unlocked nearly enough puzzle pieces either. I get my coins by exercise on the treadmill, or when I'm just walking around because I've met very few people through street pass.

Isn't the 3DS one rare and hard to find? I played the DS one and loved it, but got stuck on a part and had to quit. :\ FAQs didn't even help me either it was so fucking hard. It was the spot where you have to do an escort mission AND keep the enemies from reaching a certain spot. Loved the story though. Am debating on pre-ordering the 2nd one that's coming out next month.

My god, Tales of the Abyss availabillity is horrendous. I have a copy of my own a week after launch, but if the situation is the same in NA as it is in EU: you better pre-order that sucker.

Amazon.co.uk price is € 77 right now.

Even the dumbest publishers would learn from that fiasco in EU and ship enough copies for NA.

*Preorders*

If anyones on the fence over Ace Combat, don't be.

Never played an Ace Combat before but combination of GAF recommendation and £15 price point made me dip in. Enjoying it so much. Missions keep getting better and better, graphics are great, lovely use of 3D, sky high production values..

I'm adoring the 3DS at the moment. Just keeps on giving.

It's because of the 3DS screen. The gameboy screen had no lightsource and it was pain in the ass sometimes to see something.
I always had my with Tetris lying on my couch and I played it regulary. Now that Tetris was released on VC 3DS I was finaly able to put it away because it look so much better on the 3DS screen and I can see everything without the need of a strong lightsource over my head.

Has anybody heard anything about this game Planet Crashers for the 3ds? Apparently its made my Renegade Kid and is set to come out towards the end of march. Its kiddie fare, a light dungeon crawler of sorts. It doesn't really interest me but I'm surprised I haven't seen anything about it until now. Normally I pay attention to what Renegade Kid is working on. Published by Ignition according to amazon, but the link at Renegade Kid's website does to a dead Majesco site.

I'll second all of this. Ace Combat is great.

So I was looking for to upgrade my current SD card for the 3DS.

Is this 32gb SDHC card on amazon overkill? Any other recommendations for a SDHC card between 16gb and 32gb? Preferably from amazon or newegg.

Thanks in advance.

IRRC, 3DS will only use 16 GBs of external storage.

Unless you buy every game on the E-store, I doubt you will even need anything close to 16 GBs. Nintendo's games are relatively small compared to other systems.

On the topic of £16 Ace Combat does anyone from UK-GAF want to order the game off of Amazon.co.uk and then ship it to me in Australia?

If you're interested in helping me out just send me a PM and we can discuss details.

32GBs actually. The only reason it doesn't support more is because SDHC cards don't get larger than that (and SDXC still isn't mass market yet).

If all DLC came tied to $13 figurines, I'd consider all DLC to be free
Woah wait why do we need 32gbs any time soon?

No, but they are relatively cheap and you will never again have to worry about space on your 3DS - with eShop titles, VC, Game DLC, Demos etc. 2012 should be more demanding than 2011 on 3DS :)
