What game are you most excited for?

lol at those of you that are disappointed. I told you to keep your expectations in check.

You guys do this every damn year.

Felt like the same game was shown 3 different times. I guess if you are a nintendo fan that's all you really want though. Not for me

this is horror

An actual photograph of Nintendo fever.

The 2D sections are cool, but overall I'm not really feeling this Mario game yet. It's just... weird? Nothing bad with trying something new, of course, but it's possibly a bit too different. And the city level does not look good, nor very fun to traverse.

So... do we know who is developing Metroid Prime 4? Retro Studios hasn't been mentioned anywhere, and they haven't said a word or even a tweet about it.

Mario Odyssey looked really good.

Xeno 2 trailer did nothing for me, even though I'm a huge fan of the first game.

Can't really get hyped about Prime 4, I need a little more than just a logo. Plus, only Prime game I have played is the first one (but I really liked it).

Nintendo still haven't sold me on Switch, but we're getting there. Probably won't get one this year, though.

Id honestly say all of the games shown made me excited, but man Mario Odyssey went from looking suspect past E3, to looking flat out amazing with the amounts of imagination bursting from it. Havent been able to find a switch but Nintendo really made me want to get one even more with their presentation. Good stuff

Exactly as expected (outside Prime 4's logo), and that's pretty good. I want more actual dates than "holiday" or "fall" though. Switch remains pretty strong until the end of the year.

Xenoblade 2
Kirby Switch
Yoshi Switch
Pokken Tournament DX
Pokemon Switch
Metroid Prime 4
Mario Odyssey
FE Warriors
Mario + Rabbids
Rocket League
Skyrim
Zelda DLC
Mario Odyssey

A very solid and good presentation and easily at the same level as Sonys or MS presentation.

There where some very early announcements for 2018 games, like Pokemon and Metroid Prime 4, but that seems to be common these days. Never forget Sonys last e3 with announcements for games that are many years in the future.

The 2017 line-up for Switch turned out to be simply amazing.

What a worthless E3 this was. I at least wanted Nintendo to make me excited for the future of the Switch, turns out 25 minutes really isn't a whole lot of time for announcements.

And I certainly don't want to hear "Sony always hypes stuff that is far off!" from anybody who is excited for Prime 4 and Pokemon Switch. Sony at least provides trailers instead of "we're totally working on stuff, promise!" How fucking sad is this.

Lack of third-parties aside from Ubisoft, Bethesda and surprisingly EA is worrying... Indies will have to pick up the slack, but that can only go so far.

Wait, did we seriously not see Retro's game AGAIN this year? Cause if Retro was doing Metroid Prime 4 they'd have footage after 3 or more years of development.

Genuinely confused.

Really happy about this presentation, the only one that didnt leave me disappointed all weekend. Really want to know what the deal with XX is though, I hope the rumor of it being there at the booth is true and it just wasn't highlighted since its third party but I'm not holding my breath.

Mario Oddyssey and Splatoon 2 continues to look good
ARMS continues to look alright
Metroid Prime 4 could be Another M or the Second Coming of Christ, no idea
My hype for Xenoblade 2 is dead unfortunately
Disliked Rabbids and Fire Emblem Warriors
Cardboard Yoshi game was honestly my biggest surprise. Wooly World was amazing, and I am hyped as all get out.

Some of you are crazy, this Mario is EVERYTHING. The hat mechanic is INSANE.

Nah. I like both franchises but third party bringin the heat this year.
Against Breath of the Wild and THIS Mario? Ahahah no

So... do we know who is developing Metroid Prime 4? Retro Studios hasn't been mentioned anywhere, and they haven't said a word or even a tweet about it.
Internally developed by Nintendo in Japan, we heard nothing from Retro.

Anyone thought this was super disappointing? Like Pokemon and Metroid was cool, but it was a logo and an announcement that Pokemon is in development. :/

I don't think it was unreasonable at all to expect VC stuff and maybe some OS features. And if they're going to announce Metroid or Pokemon, don't do it with just a logo. If it's not ready to show, don't announce it.

I am really happy with the direction of their games, they continuing to cater to the hardcore and the fans. Announcing that they're working on a mainline Pokémon and Metroid Prime 4 tells me Nintendo knows what we want and that's what they're trying to deliver first and foremost. Only thing (strangely) absent is Animal Crossing, which is in such high demand.

Emphasis on multiplayer experiences too, so they seem like they're trying to get with the times.

BotW allows you to do anything. MO allows you to BE anyone. Very clever!

I love how they also implemented the painting mechanics from ALBW to put more linear challenges in the levels, awesome way to mix 3D exploration and 2D tight platforming. This game looks really awesome, BotW might have some real competition for GOTY now.

Wow, Nintendo didn't even add in visual effects when Mario collects coins. I remember people telling me that it was nothing to worry about in the initial trailer and that it was still early and Nintendo would eventually get to it.

Game just keeps getting more and more disappointing.
