On another note, that video Reggie put out with the Nintendo E3 hub schedule had a "Day One Wrap Video" at the end. Has Nintendo made any mention of other content in the subsequent days, as in "Day One Wrap Video" implying there will be day two content?

I ask because you'd think if there was they'd have released the full schedule by now. Unless they'll have stuff like "Super Mario U walkthrough" and don't want to spoil it until post Direct.

I thought that was weird too. As far as I know we don't know anything past day one.

Maybe we'll get some really interesting stuff.

In the Day One Wrap video they will probably say what they will do for Day Two.

Having a Wii U specific game summary on the same day separate to the Direct makes me think the actual Direct might indeed cover 3DS titles too.

Unless "day two" will be focused on 3DS? I don't know. If it were a mulit-day schedule it seems weird to keep it a secret, only announcing the first.

Yeah, this is possible too I guess.

I wouldn't be surprised if they announced what they're streaming on the other days at the end of Tuesday's Direct.

I also wouldn't be surprised if a proper 3DS Direct was included in that list.

Isn't the Wii U summary thing just going to be Reggie and Miyamoto's presentation to the press?

Yeah, this is possible too I guess.

I thought the day 1 wrap would showcase highlights from the Software Showcase and maybe some day one/floor stuff.

I dunno.

We throw a lot of shit against the wall leading up to E3. Most of it's done in a joking way.

Statistically, it's likely that something will turn out true.

EDIT: The idea of some sort of Mario Kart/Sonic cross-over just won't get out of my head though....

I see no point in believing people who claim they know stuff, not if they're going to be so incredibly vague. Even if they did, it's so pointless to say shit like, "There's stuff that will excite you guys," as though that's a prediction worth anything. I mean, no shit, it's E3, of course something will be exciting -- that's a "prophecy" you can't lose. Nor can you lose the prophecy of saying "someone already correctly guessed something here," because people have guessed virtually every possibility (and permutation thereof!) in all of our feverish speculation and hype -- so of course someone got something right. We have these people who may have been right about some silly app or something (whoop-de-doo!), being so vague that (not unlike the real-life Nostradamus) it will appear they were correct in some fashion. Never mind the fact that Emily leaked screenshots in the past that even a trained chimp could've recognized as shopped, claiming them to be our first glimpse of Pikmin 3 and Endless Ocean 3 (false on both counts).

Enough with the bullshit. Bring on the show!

Exactly.

What if something already did?

And none of us noticed?

Yeh probably short directs/videos for new games, and maybe a 3DS conference like last year as well.

Oh, that three Sonic game deal. I totes don't expect the third one to be discussed at all in the Direct. Not while two are already in production and to be shown. Saying "Three Sonic exclusives" to me speaks of a long term plan. As in the third will be announced later once the headlining Lost World will be out of the way.

am i the only one that almost feels silly speculating anything at this point lol

for me im at max hype, my mind is spent on speculation and im burned out waiting.

its just a matter of watching the hours pass now.

There are rumors of a Twilight Princess HD remake, but I don't give a shit for those. That would be quite disappointing and weary.

I have doubts Nintendo will be making Twilight Princess HD alongside Wind Waker HD, maybe after though. But I am curious, source?

If it is a Nintendo X Sega Racer that is possible, it would be overshadowed by Mario Kart 8.

Maybe Nintendo is doing a Zelda trilogy HD remake but only showed Windwaker so far? Explains Why there's no logo for it yet.

I'm starting to get worried about Nintendo. Have they ever announced and released a AAA title in the same year?

Depends what you mean by AAA? NSMBW, DKCR, 3D Land all released the year they were announced. LttP2 is also releasing this year and I guess that's a AAA 3DS game. They've never done it for console Zelda console Metroid or console 3D Mario or Mario Kart for that matter

Wii Music.

Was announced back in 2006

For the record, Emily Rogers is in regular contact with GAF mods. She told me her new policy is to talk to GAF mods (or show GAF mods stuff) before she teases anything on Twitter.

Uhm

Nintendo reveals most of their games when they are about to be finished, so I think you'll see a bunch of stuff later this year for Wii U

I wouldn't say most of their games. They finally completed releasing the 3DS games shown at E3 2010 today. I would actually say most of the time it doesn't release the same calendar year although it does a lot of the time within the next year
