Isn't this doing... what the Wiimote was meant to do?
carlosp said:the real question to me is, since the Wii is a mainstream and casual system, how many casuals care about 1:1 and will buy this for 30 $???

Will we see newly-announced games reflect this?
Zelda?
Red Steel 2?
Icarus?
Star Wars?
Using two?Diablohead said:Using two will give a better readout of direction and movement, think like you were holding a sword with both hands on the handle.
better control etc.

Punch-Out?
Wii Sports 2?
Wii Play 2?
Wii Music?

Pretty much. I thought the comments on the first page were sarcastic. I'm not all that excited about this personally; I feel like I have to buy more stuff again to enjoy the games. I wish it was built-in into the controllers.Wallach said:Not to sound like a dick, but this is annoying to me because the controller is supposed to exist to do this very thing already. It's like an admission that the controller sucks at the one job it has beyond a standard controller.

Interesting that they announce this now. Do they know something about what Microsoft will be showing today?
