I feel like well into this games life, people will be watching streams. I never watch streams for games, even games I want that haven't come out, but this game is different.

ive been an avid twitch watcher and used to be the same way that particular games I just couldn't actually watch ( mainly because the streamer was playing in a different style than me) like i just cant watch ppl play fallout 4 in third person with the radio on, but I do agree this game seems just as fun to watch as to play probably maybe even more fun just to watch and chill Kappa

Man, the wife went to bed early as she's not feeling well so I have the night to get some good gaming in for the first time in ages but absolutely nothing is hitting the spot while I'm waiting for this game.

Spending the night watching Star Trek The Original Series and flitting between NMS streams instead!

I'm sorry your wife isn't feeling well, I hope she gets better soon :)

If you want to stay in hype-mode for No Man's Sky, watch Interstellar, any of the original Star Wars Trilogy or space documentaries - that should do the trick!

Has any of the streamers been on a planet that doesn't affect their exosuit in some way? Such as being too cold, too hot, toxic? Any planets that you can just leisurely stroll without having to worry about recharging your suits protection?

I've seen one, it was beautiful! But you always have to charge your basic life support. It just drains significantly slower

Life support drains no matter what as far I can tell from streams, but one streamer had planet without any major hazard [radiation, toxicity...] so he didn't need to maintain two suit functions with resources.

I guess that's fair enough. Resources don't seem to be too scarce from what I have watched, so recharging life support shouldn't be too much work.

**Thanks to the other respondents as well.

Been falling behind with the streams a bit. Is there any indication of planets/fauna getting more interesting as you venture closer to the center or move on to another galaxy, or is it just random chance?...or are different gameplay dynamics introduced as you progress? Anything resembling the "wild west frontier towns" that Sean Murray had mentioned?

Interstellar was the next thing on my list. Thought I'd lent the Blu-ray to my dad but 'lo and behold I found it on the shelf. Starting my viewing right now :3

I've been excited for this game for a looong time and even at that, it just literally hit me at this very moment how amazing this game is and the incredible opportunity Hello Games is giving us!

They are giving us a [basically ] limitless galaxy full of things to see and do, everything in everyone's game will be completely unique and fun and give you an amazing experience, we can go anywhere and do nearly anything - it's pretty much your chance to live your deepest space opera/sci-fi fantasies in real-time - and if they add VR support...

...

...I'm going to practically live in this game.

Someone said they ran into settlers but haven't seen it personally.

As far as variety goes:

The majority of streamers, most have streamed over 10 hours or more when possible. One guy had 3 days of streaming before being taken offline. Another did a 19 hour marathon.

So.. presumably it's holding up.

you realize they stream a shitload to get the viewers right ? It a good opp. to get lots of viewers since not one has the game yet.

I'm having that same problem. Literally hundreds of games to choose from between my xbone and PS4 but I so badly want to play this that everything else is just unsatisfying. Games I am really excited for always do this to me close to launch.

My wife and I binge watched the first 6 episodes of Fargo season 2 last night which has been fantastic so far.

Of course.

And some get kickbacks/donations..

And some get ego boosts..

Regardless, if you hate/loathe the game like some seemingly do.. kinda hard imagining them streaming over multiple days, dealing with take downs, audiences, etc if they hate it.

So far, they've all been fairly positive.

He also just showed you can in matter of fact blow a hole through a asteroid and fly through it. (in relation to that list posted a while back here)
