Nice to see some Origins love here, personally Origins might be my favorite Arkham game.Knight was by far the worst,I had to force myself to finish that stinker...
And I agree with Smith being a good Batman voice.
That's fine. I'm always hoping for more big-budget batman games, but the arkham formula has had it's time. Same goes for Kevin Conroy in the voice role - it's iconic, but it's not definitive.
After Knight there's nowhere else you can really go. Wrapped everything in a bow, while Origins pretty much cemented any need for a prequel. The games don't really have enough material for a spin-off or anything that focuses on characters. Plus, that Arkham prefix really lost any need after City.
Plenty of places they could play around with the formula - replace the open world with something a little smaller and more linear, or expand on the detective gameplay for a more puzzle focused game. Combat can be changed, so can how you use the gadgets.
I am genuinely curious what Rocksteady are cooking up though.
Was Origins on PC ever 'fixed'? That's the only one I haven't played and I recall there being some bugs? I'm kinda in the mood for another Arkham game.
It's a Justice League game like Destiny in structure.
Sad day. This was one incredible series, even Arkham Knight. Sure, it had a few problems, but still a great game.
This series was literally the first batman game not to suck, at least for me.
Do we have any idea what rocksteady is doing?
I played it last year and didn't run into any issues. So it must've been for the most part.
There have been rumblings of Superman, but also of multiplayer Justice League. What's Rocksteady's next game going to be then?
Seems like Knight bombed. Just look at how quickly it's dropped in price everywhere and how quickly it fell out of discussion. This is probably for the best.
It's a shame because I thought Knight was the best of the series, but four games of the same formula is one too many.
Yep. Give me another game with Roger Craig Smith as Batman.
What ARE they doing now tho.
And origins was better than knight btw
But Arkham Origins ended with a huge tease. :/
i am actually okay with this...
the arkham trilogy is awesome and it ended pretty damn good (plot wise)
and it's good to see rocksteady moving to another IP (please don't be VR related)
I'm surprised there hasn't been any follow-up DLC for the VR Arkham game, unless they were waiting for the receipts to know whether to invest in more content.
