No More Heroes 2 Pre-Release Info and Hype Thread

I'm interested in this game, but is it worth it if i never played the first one? I heard the gameplay in the first one was good, but i also heard about annoying issues like the overworld or crappy framerates(and i cant stand crappy framerates), so i never bothered buying it.

It's worth playing and you should be able to find it cheap. Story-wise, there's probably going to be quite a few references to the original, so at the very least you should watch the cutscenes on YouTube before playing NMH2.
 
I'd say play it. The overworld is pretty shitty and the frame rates are all over the place, but it's a game that needs to be experienced. Even if you end up not liking it, at least it's cheap! :D
 
Seeing Curtis Blackburn as a cute character like that still isn't enough to make me forget about what a monster his character turned out to be. Has there ever been as harsh a 180 for a character in gaming?
 
Harker and me talked, and as it turns out, I have Official Thread creating duties now.
And all I wanted was to write the text
. Just speaking out to make sure its known and that any official thread I create won't get locked.

Anyway, did JDSN want to create the banners? Also, anyone got a good clean beam katana pic to put into my usual avitar?

I was thinking about something along the lines of "No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle Official Bizarre Jelly Robot Fights Thread"

I can't help but feel Red Penis Meter belongs somewhere in the title.

I usually like to use quotes from some of the earlier trailers, if not the reveal trailer. Like I did with the first one.

I'm having some family issues at the moment so I unfortunatly cannot give the thread the attention it deserves. I'm just too stressed out and spending my time behind hospital walls.

So if doomed/Dascu want to work on, do us proud gents

Also, I hope this one has a Manga-manual as well.
Judging by Ubisoft's web advertisements, it seems clear that they're advertising to current fans, and as such I don't think it would be out of the question that anything on a creative-level would be cut.
 
They're using Dark Side remix alot. I LOVE IT. Also, fat kid confirmed for that haunted house basically.
 
Although I love the DarkSide tracks, I hope there will be a lot more songs than the original.
Seeing Takada stretched thin along different games now is what's making me think otherwise.
