It might be a good time to re-evaluate things.
- Trump's political career is owed to leading a racist conspiracy theory for almost a decade to 'other' the first black President.
- Trump's introduction to the public eye was due to being sued for discrimination against black people, he took out a full page ad in the paper during calling for the execution of kids accused of a crime (4 black, 1 hispanic), is quoted as saying 'laziness is a trait in blacks', and the list goes on.
- White supremacist groups have rallied behind Trump, and consider Trump a savior for their movement. They see Trump's political career as mainstreaming the white supremacist ideology.
- He called for a ban on all Muslim immigrants and suggested they carry an ID that identifies them as Muslim.
- He called for the use nationally of stop and frisk, a notorious bigoted policy that overwhelmingly targets black people.
- Trump and his family repeatedly re-tweet white supremacist tweets. Seriously this has happened many times since he announced his candidacy.
- Trump relies on a smorgasbord of bigoted political rhetoric and blatantly racist rhetoric on a regular basis, including suggesting a judge recuse himself due to his heritage.
A few highlights.
This, spot on.
Trump and his candidacy should honestly be made out to be a complete and utter disgrace. Because honestly it is. That a man with his views, "policies", and drives could become a contender for the Presidency should be heavily frowned upon in this day and age.
At this point, looking the other way and voting for him because he isn't Hillary or because you agree with his stance on taxes is highly irresponsible. Republicans should have acted and removed him as a possibility from the very beginning, but instead caved.
He should never have even once been ignored, thought of as innocent fun, thought of as incapable of getting this far, dismissed by opponents, and supported "for the Lols" (which was NEVER funny, NEVER cute, NEVER safe. I don't care how ridiculous he was to watch. He's a madman.)
There is absolutely no way he should ever be considered seriously for office.
I truly believe he will lose in November, and I sincerely hope that this election stands as a massive wake up call for this country.
