Yeah, I guess it'll be hard to justify signing him for any type of big contract at this point, but I'll suck to see him go. His knees just aren't going to hold up. He'll make a hell of a DH though.

Have the Mets or Reyes indicated that he is going to test the market? I wonder if they would try to lock him up during the season.

How much money do we have off the books other than Beltran? I'm worried because all the talk of lowering payroll and the shitfest that is the ownership.
 
Frankman, I was not aware of this Keep Reyes Parade that occurred out on the bridge last night. Is it really becoming that much of a thing?

I want to take credit for his resurgence b/c of my viking funeral I gave my Reyes bobblehead last year.
 
Yep, I was going to go but I thought it was this week instead of last. Mets management has to realize Reyes loves NY and loves baseball. He and Wright were signed to sweetheart deals, dude is one of the few players in baseball who is more than willing to take less money. If they offer 5 years $85-90 mil he will accept it.
 
Keep Jose night was on Friday, went to the game. Crowd was awesome, good looking crowd as well.

Tejada seems to have a highlight catch every night.
 
Hope you're right about Reyes.

Fucking loving the way the team is playing tonight. First time in a while I've been able to sit down and catch the whole thing start to finish.
