Oh ****ing...I thought you meant result as in score! I could guessed at the placing.

I will answer the sister thing eventually, but some people won't even have seen the question yet and it'd just annoy them if they come on and know it and find I've already said.

Ermm...let me think...which striker has the record for the most Premier League goals in one season.

Post-war, only Arsenal haven't been relegated

Everton are second behind them up until a few years ago Coventry had a pretty unenviable record too. Think Arsenal go back 70 odd years, Evreton about 50 or so.

Sorry, which striker except Shearer

Shit! That ****s it up for me! Knowing Mama and his affiliation I'll guess Andy Cole - he had a couple of prolific seasons!

Can't wait for Saturday - St Johnstone are my team - we can get promotion to the SPL if Gretna lose or draw and we win... gonna be a great day regardless!

I've had to look this up myself so don't think I'm some football brainbox, but can you come up with the top 10 all time Premiership goalscorers?

Doesn't have to be in order, though I'll be damn impressed if it is.

I used to watch most Morton home games back when I was living in Scotland. The football was horrible but there was always a great atmosphere in Cappielow.

I remember watching a game against Gretna too.

Yes, Andy Cole. Got 34 goals the season before Shearer.

There were an extra 4 games a season back then though.
Yikes poor Andy what the hell happened.... he can't much older than 30 ....right?

I'll play:

Shearer
Henry
Cole
Wright
Fowler
Nistelrooy
Yorke
Sheringham
Owen

not easy, but my best guess, tried to do it in order too ...

edit: hold on, had Wright twice. That's only nine then. I dunno

What is the only team in the professional English or Scottish leagues that has that letter 'J' in their name?

St. Johnstone?

I'm surprised if there's really only one.

You have Wright twice, unless you mean Alan Wright, and another is also wrong.

Ok Shearer is top definately.

Then Cole.

after that no idea on order.

so randomly arranged.

Sherringham
Giggs
Van Nistlerooy
Henry
Scholes
Le Tissier? (not sure, awesome player awesome goals, not sure how many though)

Struggling now.

Yorke
Bergkamp?

if I had to order them I'd go

Shearer
Cole
Sherringham
Henry
Van Nistlerooy
Scholes
Giggs
Le Tissier
Yorke
Bergkamp

probably missing some right obvious ones.

I'll try and give this a go without cheating.

1 - Gotta be Shearer.
2 - Henry
3 - Robbie Fowler
4 - Andy Cole
5 - Michael Owen
6- Wright
7- Sheringham
8- Jimmy Floyd Hasselbank
9- ???
10- Gotta be a midfielder there somewahere

Chris Sutton didn't have enough seasons...

Ferdinand? Who else? Solsjaer?

I guess Le Tissier is wrong, and Les Ferdinand is right.

So:

Owen
Cole
Yorke
Ferdinand
RVN
TH
Fowler
Shearer
Sheringham
Wright

totally forgot about Ian Wright and Fowler. For shame. Gonna go look at the chart now. I know a nice website full of facts so I'll pose a stupidly hard question.

Which player has been on the bench more times than any other player in the history of the premiership and is NOT a goalkeeper. (the top 48 are all goalkeepers)

If u get that right without looking it up I'll be amazed.

:D
I'm surprised if there's really only one.

Unless there has been a recent Conference promotion the yup, my St Johnstone is the only 'J', believe it or not!

Also, St Johnstone are the only Scottish team never to have lost a home European tie... admittedly we haven't played many, but still...
