This game is ridiculous, but fun.

I hope I see some defending tomorrow, the last 4 games I've watched have been out of control.

You guys make wallpapers out of victorious matches against us?

Actually the Arsenal website has wallpapers for all their victories. Unsurprisingly there was no wallpaper produced for last Wednesday's tilt. :lol

To be fair, he was responding to kaizoku saying Arsenal were irrelevant.

Won't be saying that if you need Arsenal to beat Chelsea second to last game of the season though.

Heh, bingo.

And BTW, Man U fans took a lot of joy with ending our unbeaten run (hell, some fans still love to talk about it), so don't think you're above such things. Shit, I bet Spurs fans still yap about ruining our double chances in '91. :lol

no but seriously, I've gotten abit tired of winding Arsenal fans up on here

SO YOU ADMIT IT!! HA!!

...dude, it's all good. All we're exchanging here is words, as opposed to fists.

And next year we'll be exchanging roles as Premiership leaders, so it all works out!

Barca/Madrid has ben a joy to watch so far, even better then their October clash. I'm using the CCTV5 link on PPStream BTW, from the myp2p site. Gotta take a quick shower and get back for the second half.

Pretty much...second half is like the polar opposite of the first, no flow whatsoever. Though I reckon some of that is due to both teams tightening up at the back...neither team can afford to lose.

it's a good game, but you can easily see why players from la liga struggle to adjust to the Premiership like we discussed yesterday.

I can't believe how much time and space there is.

That was great, Real will be kicking themselves for not taking their chances. I figure that plays right into Sevilla's hands, if they beat Gimnastic as they should.

too bad oleguer got a red card [where was gio :(], barca would win if they were with 11 players

the ref could've given the penalty to ronaldinho

Well, that one has to go down as a typical Italian manager shutting up shop. And getting burned for it.

Rank stupidity - after Ramos header, Madrid should have comfortably gone on and scored at least one more. But NO! What does Capello do? Takes off Guti who was at the centre of everything Madrid did.

As a long time Madrid fan I have to say that a manager that doesn't have the balls to kill off a team that has 1 player less is not the kind of manager to be managing Madrid.

Toothless.

Here are some of the games on tomorrow, packed day (English time):

Celtic v Rangers SPL 12:30
Chelsea v Spurs FA Cup 12:45
Inter v AC Milan Serie A 14:00
Blackburn v Man City FA Cup 16:00
Munich v Bremen BL 16:00
Plymouth v Watford FA Cup 18:00

Plenty of other games here, including even more derbies (like Dinamo Moscow v Spartak Moscow).

I think I'll keep half an eye on Celtic v Rangers on my computer but I'll mainly be watching Chelsea v Spurs in the cup on TV, then unless the Scottish match is really good, I'll switch over when the Milan derby starts and as soon as the Chelsea match is over watch that properly. Then I'll probably have about 10 minutes to you know, do something else with my life other than watch football, until the Blackburn match starts and sadly won't be able to watch the German teams as I'll already be streaming Blackburn. Then it's Plymouth v Watford and if I'm really not fed up of games by that time, I might check out Roma v Udinese. Probably not though.

If Real had won they would've had 47 points, with Sevilla at 50, Barca at 49 and Valencia at 46. Instead Barca goes top at 50 on goal difference (though with one more game played), while Real sits at 47. Still going to be an incredible finish for Liga this season, but a Real win would've made it even more intense.

:lol @ Mama Smurf...yeah, tomorrow's sched just looks insane. I defintely want to catch the Celtic/Rangers and Inter/AC matches (the latter will be on TV), and I wanna try and catch the FA Cup matches as well if at all possible. BTW, Keano and Robinson are both out for tomorrow. I'd consider that bad news/good news for Spurs.

If the Old Firm game is even half as good as the first half of El Classico then I'll be happy.

But that's unlikely.

Personally I hope Celtic annihilate Rangers 6 or 7 nil just to get it up Walter Smith after being such a turncoat and leaving the national team in the lurch.

For tomorrow as well, AZ - Feyenoord (No2 vs No5) and Twente vs Ajax (No3 vs No4). No2/3/4 are 1 goal apart each. (PSV is long gone at No1)

Quite interesting for the Dutch league. And a killer day with the other games played in Europe. Almost a second Super-Sunday

This Clasico reminded me why these two teams, no matter the troubled times, are the greatest in the world in my eyes. It was a thing of beauty and the kind of match I haven't seen in quite a while.

But to tell you the truth, I had little hope for Madrid to take away anything from Camp Nou but they played really well, for the most part. In fact, they should've killed the match when leading 3-2 with a few clear chances they wasted. Of course, on the other side, there's Messi. Who doesn't love watching Messi play?

highlights of yesterday's clásico

stupid, stupid, stupid oleguer. we can't play 3-4-3 without signing a good cb next summer. (or two, if thuram keeps on assisting the other teams' strikers like he's been doing this whole season.)

New keeper as well. Valdes is not consistant in big games, and won't win you the games where your defense doesn't "have it".

You need a Alex - Gomes (PSV) combo. Arguably the best CB en GK in the world right now, especially when playing together

Yesterdays game against middlesbrough was a bit disappointing, For the majority of the first half we were playing some really good football. Rooney;s goal was really nice. Giggs was unlucky to hit the post too. It was a diofferent performance compared to those that we've had over the last two weeks. We looked more comfortable.

Despite a good first half performance, a draw is a fair result. Our defending when 'brough scor3ed their 2nd goal was ****ing shit. Boateng had all the space in the world. No one marffked his run and when the ball was coming towards him no one approached him. the players just watching him run If you're going to give a player that much space then you deserve not to win a game. We got punished for some shokcing defence.

I dont get how people say that our penalty was lucky. I dont think there is a rule about a player protecting their face and if there is, Im guessing its only under extreme circumstances, for instance someone striking the ball so hard and your face is right next to it. Larsoonm flicked on a header, so the ball was moving that quick. Boateng could have let that hit his face and then get away with a nosebleed. The worst that could have happened is if he broke his nose, and thats hardly a serious injury. It was definately deliberate. Why else would he have his hands covering his face. The ref made the correct decison.

speaking of refs, why was larsson booked for getting tackled? Its usually difficult to tell if a player is diving, but people know who the players are that will most likely dive. larsson isnt one of those players, he's one of the honest you can find.

I was pleased with the performance. The defending from that corner was horriblem but other than that the team didnt do anything wrong. My only concern is wayne rooney. If he's going to be the onbly striker we have for a while then im a worried man. He scored a goal, but apart from that he was crap. His first touch was bad, his passing was inaccurate and badly timed and his shooting was off target.

Rooney's been pretty shit for a while now. As an England (LOL) fan, I'm a little concerned. I don't know where our scoring up front is going to come from. It's kinda like Arsenal!

Le Old Firm has started BTW.

this is probably the first time I have ever celebrated a spurs goal.

they will still lose, 93rd minute 60 yard shot from Lampard off the back of 6 players will settle it.

I didn't think he was booked for diving. It looked like he was booked for screaming at the ref after going down and then protesting the ref's decision to not give a foul after that.

:lol I sure hope not...and yeah, I'm relunctantly rooting for Spurs, though it's easier since they don't have any players that I hate (I even like Keane a bit).

And :lol @ Rangers bicycle kick goal...1-0 for the protestants.
