I really don't see it that way, I see strong and healthy Ps3 sales from now and until there are cheaper and comparable features-wise (excluding video game playback) BD players out. Software is still the 360's/Wii's domain

First impression aside from HOLY CRAP at Wii- disappointing 360 and PS3 numbers. Very.

Average per week for both consoles went down-

360 from 63k to 52K, PS3 from 70K to 51K.

That is becuase there were no big games to push console sales. In Feb, we had DMC4, Lost Odssey, etc.

Expect much higher number with GTAIV, and upcoming MGS4 and NG2.

I would love to see some more SW. Maybe there will be a lot of company press releases that help with that, since obviously everyone did very well this month. In particular, nice PSP SW sales. And yeah, the Wii number pretty much just goes to show how incredibly supply-constrained the Wii is normally, if it can sell 700k and still be hard to find. DS sales are pretty surprising to me--it makes me think that it will end up surpassing GBA sales in the US when all's said and done.
